Gazebo 3x3m Anthracite Shelter

Please read and save these instructions. Read through this user’s manual carefully before using this product. Protect yourself and others by observing all safety information, warnings and cautions. Failure to comply with instructions could result in personal injury and/or damage to product or property. Please retain instructions for future reference.

Safety instructions

General safety instructions
  • Read the manual – especially the safety instructions – carefully before using the folding pavilion. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or damage to the pavilion.
  • The assembly instructions are based on the standards and rules valid in the European Union. Please also observe country-specific guidelines and laws abroad.
  • Keep the manual for further use. If you pass on the gazebo to third parties, be sure to include these assembly instructions.
  • Dangers to children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
  • This folding can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the gazebo in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children are not allowed to play with the folding pavilion. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
  • Do not leave the gazebo unattended during use. Do not let children play with the packaging film. Children can get caught up in it and suffocate while playing.
Specific safety instructions
  • Risk of injury! Improper handling of the folding pavilion can lead to injuries.
    • When building the folding gazebo, there is a risk of crushing fingers and hands! Wearing protective gloves is recommended.
    • Disassemble the folding pavilion in the event of bad weather conditions (bad weather, snow or frost) and with expected wind speeds greater than 25 m/h (fresh wind, larger branches and trees move and wind is clearly audible) immediately to avoid personal injury and/or damage to property.
    • The folding pavilion was developed for quick assembly and disassembly and is not intended for long-term use. Only build the folding pavilion for the duration of use.
    • The pavilion is water repellent, not waterproof. Under standing objects are to be protected from water. Here we can assume no liability for any damage.
    • Do not hang items in the frame or place anything on the gazebo. The gazebo could tip over and hurt someone.
    • It should never be enclosed more than 50% of the sides of the pavilion.
    • Do not use open fire, a grill, mushroom heaters or the like in or near the pavilion.
    • Do not use this product if parts are missing, damaged or worn.
    • During periods of frost and over the winter, we recommend that the products be stored dry and protected.
    • Empty any water bags quickly to avoid personal injury and/or property damage.
  • Risk of damage! Improper handling of the folding pavilion can damage it.
    • Place the folding pavilion on an easily accessible, level, dry and stable surface. Do not place the folding pavilion near the edge of a surface.
    • When setting up on hard ground (paving stones, etc.), attachment with the tensioning cables and nails is not possible. Use suitable tools to achieve a firm anchorage.
    • Do not leave the open gazebo unattended or overnight.
    • Keep the folding pavilion away from fire and excessive heat sources. Do not use heaters or other sources of heat in the folding pavilion.
    • The reference of the pavilion can easily fade out due to UV rays. However, this does not affect the lifetime.
    • Do not hang objects on the frame or put anything on the folding pavilion, the folding pavilion could tip over or the frame could break.
    • Do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning. Otherwise, the gazebo can be damaged.
    • Allow the folding pavilion to dry completely before storage it in the storage bag.
    • Stop using the folding pavilion if the folding pavilion’s frame has cracked or deformed.
      Only replace damaged components with suitable original spare parts.

Intended use

  • The gazebo is designed exclusively as a shelter. It is exclusively for private use outdoors and not suitable for commercial use.
  • Use the folding pavilion only as described in this manual. Any other use is considered improper and may result in property damage or even personal injury. The gazebo is not a toy. It is not intended for permanent installation and can be set up and disassembled quickly and may only be set up for the duration of use.
  • The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.

Scope of delivery

  • Note! Risk of damage! If you open the packaging carelessly with a sharp knife or other sharp objects, the folding pavilion can be damaged quickly.

  • Be very careful when opening:

    • Take the gazebo out of the packaging.
    • Check if the delivery is complete.
    • Check whether the folding pavilion or the individual parts are damaged. If this is the case, do not use the folding pavilion.

Use

General
  • Danger of crushing! Improper handling of the folding pavilion can lead to injuries.
    When assembling and disassembling the folding pavilion, there is a risk of crushing fingers and hands! Wearing protective gloves is recommended.

  • Do not use power tools to build this product.

  • Note: Due to the size of the product, we recommend that it should be mounted where it will be used later.

  • For the assembly and disassembly at least 2-4 persons are needed. Pay attention to flat and firm ground.

  • When you’re ready to set up, make sure you have the right tools at hand and plenty of space and a clean, dry place to install the gazebo.

  • Attention risk of injury! Keep small children away when setting up. Make sure that this product is fully assembled before use (see figures).

Build up the gazebo
  • Caution! Do not connect several gazebo and leave a space of at least three meters between two gazebos.

  • At least two people should take the folding pavilion and place it in the middle of the desired location on the base plate.

  • Then open the frame slightly, lifting it by its corner posts and pulling it apart slightly.

  • Now place the covering over the frame and attach the individual Velcro fasteners and to the frame.

  • Then you can open the frame completely. Note that the covering in the corners is pulled low over the frame! The covering must flow around the poles and not be tightly lashed around.

  • Do not overtighten the screws too tight. Only fully tighten the screws when the product has been fully assembled.

  • Place one foot on the bottom plate of a corner post and slowly pull the telescope section upwards until the snap button engages at the desired height.

  • Finally, fasten the gazebo and covering in the ground. Use the provided nails and ropes for this. Make sure that the roof is tight to avoid water retention.

  • Check that all screws are tightened and check this regularly.

Dismantle the gazebo
  • To dismantle the pavilion, first remove the ropes and nails from the ground.
  • Press in the snap buttons on all four corner posts and slide the corner posts into each other.
  • Detach the Velcro fasteners from the frame and remove the covering.
  • Slowly push the corner posts together so that the gazebo folds up.
  • Finally, store the folding pavilion and the accessories in the carrying bag.

Cleaning and Storage

Cleaning
  • Regular rinsing with clean water will prevent larger contamination.
  • Use a sponge and warm soapy water for cleaning. Wipe the folding pavilion with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Allow all parts to dry completely.
  • Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning items such as knives, hard spatulas, and the like. These can damage the surfaces.
  • Attention, the following cleaning methods are not suitable:
    • Use of high-pressure cleaners (removes the protective impregnation).
    • Wash the covering with the washing machine (remove the protective impregnation and attack the seams).
    • Scouring or sharp cleaning agents.
    • Clean with hot water (may cause the material to shrink).
Storage
  • All parts must be completely dry before storage.
  • Keep the folding pavilion in the carrying bag and always in a dry place.

Disposal instruction

Disposal of the packaging
  • Please make reference to the guidelines and standards for appropriate disposal of the packaging valid in your region. In part, the package may consist of plastic bags – watch this respect, with special care to ensure that this is not out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation!
Disposal of waste equipment
  • Equipment must be disposed of in accordance with the rules and regulations of the local waste disposal.
  • At the end of the long life of your article, please dispose of the valuable raw materials for proper disposal so that proper recycling can take place. If you are not sure how to proceed, the local waste disposal companies or recycling centers are happy to help.
