WARNING!!!

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK, OR INJURY:

  • The product is for household use only.

  • Connect the appliance to single phase AC supply of the voltage specified on the rating label.

  • Always turn the product to the OFF position and unplug it from the electrical outlet when not in use.

  • Extreme caution is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children, invalids or elderly person.

  • Do not run cord under carpeting and do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.

  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the unit malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent  or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.

  • Use the appliance in a well ventilated area. While using, distance of no less than 20 cm should be kept away from wall or corner to ensure the air intakes or exhaust openings should not be blocked unexpectedly. The unit must not be located immediately below or besides a curtain or the likes.

  • Do not insert or allow fingers or any other objects into grill to avoid a mechanical danger when in use. Do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner.

  • Adequate clean water should be put into the tank within the water level limits as shown by the water level indicator. Make sure that you DO NOT add water whilst the power is on. If you want to move the product whilst water is in the tank, unplug it and push it slowly and very lightly on the side of the unit to avoid water spillage.

  • Please keep the ice boxes provided away from children, as it is a chemical based substance that is harmful if swallowed. Also make sure that the ice pack is not placed in direct sunshine. The ice boxes can be used over 5 years. When scrapping the appliance, follow the regulations concerning the disposal of ice boxes.
    Use the appliance on flat, dry floor only.

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

  • Children should be supervised to  ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

DESCRIPTION

5 in 1 unit: Heater, Cooler, Humidifier, Air Purifier and Fan.

  • PTC technology (Positive Temperature Coefficient) uses highly advanced materials instead of resistance wires to heat the air flow. The heating is extremely efficient saving energy and providing a secure temperature control.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

When using the appliance, make sure that it is on a flat and stable surface. Damage may occur if it is placed on an incline or decline. Insert the plug directly into a standard AC socket-outlet. Be sure plug fits tightly into outlet. Turn the Switch in the rear panel to the position I. Symbol On/Off is display

Before turning on the unit, make sure the horizontal louvers are open.

Press button On/Off on the control panel to turn on Ventus Dual Tech. Ambience temperature and setting of fan mode and fan speed are displayed.

FAN FUNCTION

When the unit is turn on, the fan starts to work. You can use the unit as purifier or just to blast air at ambiance temperature.

COOL/HUMIDIFIER FUNCTION

Ventus Dual Tech has a security system that turns off the appliance if very low water level during Cool Function to avoid damage to parts.

Open the Water Filler lid and add clean water into the water tank by pouring water directly into the filler. Keep an eye on the water level indicators Min and Max to make sure that you do not OVER or UNDER FILL the unit. Close the Water Filler lid. With the unit already turn on, press the button COOL, the water circuit turns on and the unit starts to blow cool air. The display will show the Cool icon.

If you press the button COOL again, the water circuit stops and the unit returns to FAN function.

If you find that the air is still not cool enough, you can add the previously freezed for 1 or 2 hours Ice Boxes or ice blocks into the water tank. Unlock the water tank knob my moving it upwards and extract the water tank no more than 15 cm. Insert the water tank into the unit and lock the knob moving it downwards.

You can also add clean water to the water tank when it is extracted.

“SPEED” BUTTON

This button selects the fan speed during COOL or FAN mode. Press the button SPEED button again to choose as per the following sequence:

  1.  LOW
  2. MEDIUM
  3. HIGH

“MODE” BUTTONMode Button

This button selects the fan operation during COOL or FAN mode to save energy and get a less disturbance level. Press the button MODE again to choose your desired wind mode as per the following sequence:

WARM FUNCTIONButton Instruction

During WARM mode, no water is put in the unit. Fan mode and fan speed settings are not available. With the unit already on, press the WARM button, the PTC system will start to work and air flow will be warm.

The default heat setting is low with 1200 W

  • Pressing again the Warm button, the heat increases to 2000 W
  • Pressing again the Warm button, the unit returns to FAN function, with no heat.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES (ANY FUNCTION)

PURIFIER FUNCTION

Ventus Dual Tech release negative ions into the environment to purify it. The purifier is always on in any on the function modes.

“VANE” BUTTON

If you want to enlarge blast area in your room during any function mode, press the VANE button. The vertical vents will move from left to right to redirect the airflow; the vane icon will be illuminated. To stop vane, just press the vane button again, the vane pilot light will go out. Moving the horizontal louvers either up or down can make further wind direction enhancements.

”TIMER” BUTTON

Set the time by pressing the timer button to select a desired timing level as follow, the range is between 1-12 hours. Ventus Dual Tech will turns off when time selected is reached. The display will show the selected timing level.

REMOTE CONTROL

Remote control has the same functions as those described in the control panel. Use CR2025 battery (included).

FALLING SECURITY SWITCH

If the unit falls down or tilts, it automatically turns off.

MAINTENANCE

  • Always remove the plug from the socket-outlet and allow the fan blower to stop acting before clean it.
  • When the unit is not in use, make sure that it is unplugged from the wall socket, water is drained thoroughly and it is placed back into its original box for storage until later use.
  • In case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the fan yourself, it may result in a fire hazard or electric shock.
  • Clean the external surfaces of the unit with a soft damp (not dripping wet) cloth. After extended periods of use, be sure to replace the water in the tank with fresh clean water at least weekly.

CLEANING HONEYCOMB PANEL

Unlock the Frame Cover by moving the two honeycomb panel knobs upwards. Remove the frame cover and the honeycomb panel frame, then remove the honeycomb panel and wash under running water and with a neutral detergent, using a soft brush or cloth. Reinstall the Honeycomb Panel on the Frame, install in the unit and put the Frame Cover. Lock the two Honeycomb Panel knobs by moving them downwards. If the unit is not going to be used for some time, leave the parts to dry before reinstalling.
Do not use brushes with thick bristles to wash the Honeycomb Panel and other parts, as they can damage them and make them less effective.
Cleaning Instruction

  1. Rotate the filter knobs outwards like in the photo.
  2. Pull out the frame cover.
  3. Take out the Honeycomb panel frame.

WARNING:

Do not immerse the unit in water.

Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives. Do not allow the interior to get wet as this could create a hazard.

WASTE AND CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

This product is covered by the laws of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) It should not be disposed of with the rest of the rubbish, but instead delivered to your local recycling center. For more information, contact the local authority or authorized waste disposal agency.
