Accupack A8205 Replacement Procedure

The accupack is designed exclusively for dataloggers: U0110M, U0121M, U0141M, U0843M, U2422, U3120M, U3121M, U3430, U3631M, U4440, U4440M, U5841M, U6841M, U7844M, U8410, U8410M

WARNING
– Replacement may only be carried out by a qualified service technician

• Turn off the device:
  – press and hold down the lower button and release the button when the menu item bar lights up
  – briefly press the upper button – press the upper button briefly again to select OFF
  – press the lower button to turn off the device

• Unscrew the rear of the device where the accu is located (use the TORX T10 screwdriver)

• Disconnect the old accupack from the device

• Connect the USB charger to the device, and wait until the full battery symbol will be permanently lit (see fig.)

• Unpack the new A8205 accupack, check and, if necessary, adjust the position of the seal in the groove

• Compare the nominal capacity data of the old and new accupack, if they differ, contact the manufacturer or distributor of the device

• Again check that the fully charged battery symbol is on the display and then connect the new accupack to the device -! failure to observe this step can lead to the destruction of a new accupack!

• Assemble the device (the screws tighten gently)

• Charge the unit fully (full-battery symbol must be permanently lit):
  – When charging, the device must be installed indoors with a maximum humidity of 85%, at an indoor temperature ranging between 0°C and +40°C.

• Turn device ON
