U2422 Internal Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery

The battery is designed exclusively for dataloggers: U2422, U3430, U4440, U8410,
U0110M, U0121M, U0141M, U0843M, U3120M, U3121M, U3631M, U4440M, U5841M, U6841M, U7844M, U8410M,
U0110G, U0121G, U0141G, U0843G, U3120G, U3121G, U3631G, U4440G, U5841G, U6841G, U7844G, U8410G.

• Turn off the device:
  – press and hold down the lower button and release the button when the menu item bar lights up
  – briefly press the upper button
  – press the upper button briefly again to select OFF
  – press the lower button to turn off the device.
  

• Unscrew the rear of the device where the battery is located (use the TORX T10 screwdriver).

• Disconnect the old battery from the device.

• Connect the USB charger to the device and wait until the full battery symbol will be permanently lit (see fig.). If the original battery in the device has been completely discharged or damaged, then it may be necessary to briefly disconnect and reconnect the external power supply (USB connector) once again to reach this state.

• Unpack the new A8205 battery, check and, if necessary, adjust the position of the seal in the groove.

• Compare the nominal capacity data of the old and new battery, if they differ, contact the manufacturer or distributor of the device.

•  Again check that the fully charged battery symbol is on the display and then connect the new battery to the device -! failure to

• bserve this step can lead to the destruction of a new battery !

• Assemble the device (the screws tighten gently).

• Charge the unit fully (full-battery symbol must be permanently lit). When charging, the device must be installed indoors with a maximum humidity of 85 %, at an indoor temperature ranging between 0 °C and +40 °C.

• Turn device ON.
