This kind of adapter offers an easy way to increase the connectivity possibilities for PCs that don’t have enough Ethernet or USB ports.
What’s In the Box?
Typically, a USB 3.0 Hub Ethernet Adapter comes with the following items in the box:
- USB 3.0 Hub Ethernet Adapter
- User manual
- Driver CD (if required)
- Ethernet cable
Note: The exact contents of the box may vary depending on the manufacturer and model of the adapter.
High-Speed Gigabit Network
The UGREEN USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter can transfer data at a rate of up to 1000Mbps when connected to a gigabit ethernet connection. It may maximise the functionality of your network and guarantee consistent network speed so you can play online games, browse the Internet, stream HD video online, upload files, and more.
3 USB 3.0 ports with a 5Gbps speed
With three high-speed USB 3.0 ports built into the UGREEN USB 3.0 Gigabit
Ethernet Hub, you can easily connect more accessories to your device, such a
mouse, keyboard, external drive, thumb drive, and more. Additionally, USB
3.0’s data sync speed can reach 5Gbps, which is 10 times faster than USB 2.0.
Broadly Acceptable
The majority of desktops and laptops, including the MacBook, iMac, Surface, XPS, and others, are compatible with the UGREEN 5 in 1 USB 3.0 Ethernet Hub. Additionally, Nintendo Switch and Switch Oled are compatible with it (Only Ethernet Port). On Windows 11/10/8.1/8, Mac OS, and Chrome OS, it doesn’t require any drivers. You may easily instal the driver using our instructions on Linux, Windows XP/7/Vista, and other operating systems.
Power Supply DC 5V
A second DC 5V 2A power supply port is included in the design of the UGREEN USB to Ethernet Adapter. This port can be used to provide power and achieve consistent performance when using high-power devices, such as hard disc enclosures or multiple devices. (Laptop charging is not supported by this 5V 2A DC connector.)
Faster Internet Connection
For faster and more dependable Internet connectivity, RJ45 offers a speed
of full 10/100 Mbps ethernet performance and Micro USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps.

Supported System
- Free drivers for Chrome OS, Mac OS, Windows 10/8.1/8, and Windows 11.
- Linux, Windows 7, XP, and Vista all require a driver. (By following our directions, installing the driver should be simple.)
- Switch Oled and Nintendo Switch compatible. only an Ethernet port
Note
- Only the extension device can get power from the 5V 2A DC connector; the laptop cannot be charged through it.
- Not directly compatible with the Fire TV Stick. (Theoretically, the hub and fire tv stick are compatible. But because the hub uses the stick’s power port, you need an OTG
- Adapter that is specifically designed and has an isolated power cord.)

Will TP Link support it?
The answer is yes if you’re referring to TP link switches.
Does anyone use a Firestick 4K? I have a 300 MB connection, but I’m only getting 125 MB?
Yes, you are doing great if you are receiving 125MB/s on the 4K Firestick. The Firestick, which is 10/100, is a limiting characteristic. The ethernet connection I use to assess the speed is in the low to mid 90’s and my connection is 1,000MB/s. Instead of using one of my same-room 4K sticks, whose speed is in the high 60s, utilise WiFi, which has a range of mid-300s. In addition, I have a dongle for a full-size computer mouse plugged into one port and a 128GB SDD drive plugged into another. 97 apps are running on the SDD USB device, 41 Amazon proprietary programmes have been disabled, and 3.96 GB of cache is still available. Do not forget to stream 4K content without interruptions. It needs a speed of 68 MB/s, although 1080p and lesser just need 20 to 30 MB/s. In order to avoid overloading the stick and many free servers, which lead to buffering issues, your cache space is crucial.
Which DC-jack should I buy for this device, anyone?
Several plugged-in and operating equipment, such as hard drives, may need more power than others. A 1.35mm x 3.5mm 5v 2A or greater power supply appears to be the power jack.
Does it function with a Logitech K120 keyboard and a Tecknet mouse?
I myself use an IPazz keyboard with no problems, but a Logitech mouse with a dongle.
Do I use the fire tv stick 4k max power port and the dc 5 power port in conjunction with the uGreen USB 3.0 hub ethernet adapter?
If you want to relieve some of the strain on the fire stick’s power source, use that power outlet if you have a large flash drive or a portable hard drive connected. The power source that comes with fire sticks is just 1 amp, which is insufficient to carry the load. My issue was resolved when I increased the size of my power supply to 3 amps. If you need to, you can utilise that port to power everything.
Do the USB-A 3.0 ports on the adapter actually function when it is plugged into a dock for a Nintendo Switch?
Yes, I’m charging my pro controller using a USB-C connection while the primary Ethernet input flows to the docking station.
Is this compatible with Firestick? I’m searching for an adapter that will hard wire the stick but also allow me to put a keyboard into other USB ports.
Yes, I’m using it on my Amazon Firestick, so it does. I link a keyboard and mouse with it and use it to download movies into a flashdrive. Although you require the “Y” wire to connect everything, it functions perfectly.
Does Windows 10 support it?
Yes, I use Windows 10 and it’s fantastic.
Can a PoE 12-Vdc router power this device?
I don’t see why not, it powers up through the USB on my laptop on battery just fine, and it does have an outlet for an external power supply to operate independently. However, it won’t power up with just an Ethernet cable; it requires a USB port, and the blue lights on top light up both 2.0 and 3.0. I hope this information is helpful, but I believe it would work just fine on a PoE 12-Vdc router with USB. 99.9% sure.
Does the Ethernet wire snap or click into position? Or does it have a smooth exit from the device?
The Ethernet cable clicks firmly into position. Stays in place without any problems.
