What is the RK-MOD?

The RK-MOD-xxx-x is a keypad for use with Rako wireless systems. The keypad can communicate with all Rako wireless dimmers as well as a Wired system via a WK-HUB.
It is available in a wide variety of button configurations including:
RK-MOD-040-B – 4 button – Scene 1, off, fade up & fade down – Black buttons
RK-MOD-070-B – 7 button – Scenes 1-4, off, up & down – Black buttons
RK-MOD-110-B – 11 button – Scenes 1-8, off, up & down – Black buttons

**Before installing the RK-MOD:

WARNING
The WK-MOD has four visible screws on the “Front” section as shown below:

These must not be adjusted. Adjusting these may damage RK-MOD-xxx-x

Installation of the RK-MOD-xxx-x with HS-MOD-xx :

Step 1| | Install and prepare back-box.
NB
It is advised that at least a 35mm backbox is used.

Step 2| | Screw the grid provided with the RK-MOD- xxx-x into the backbox.
Step 3| | Clip the front section of the RK- MOD into the grid.
Push each corner firmly into position to ensure good connection.
Step 4| | Attach the magnetic surround to the assembly to complete installation.
TIP:
If the surround is not sitting flush with the wall/grid try loosening/tightening the screws securing the back section into the backbox.

Surrounds (HS-MOD-xx)

To complete installation of the WK-MOD a HS-MOD-xx is required as shown above. This is available in a variety of finishes including:
– Satin Chrome (Silk) surround kit – HS-MOD-SC
– Polished Chrome surround kit – HS-MOD-PC
– Antique Brass surround kit – HS-MOD-AB
– Polished Brass surround kit – HS-MOD-PB
– Matt Bronze surround kit – HS-MOD-BM
– Matt White surround kit – HS-MOD-WH
– Matt Black surround kit – HS-MOD-MB

Programming the RK-MOD:

To program the RK-MOD the following items are required:
– Laptop running Rasoft Pro (minimum version 3.10.8)
– RK/WK-HUB (minimum version 3.1.8) or RAMPI NFC programming tool
It is possible to program each button to transmit commands to any Room/Channel within the Rako system. Commands available include: Scenes, Fades, Toggles, Levels etc.
The RK-MOD will indicate it has transmitted wirelessly by pulsing a central blue recessed LED three times.
