Cut pieces as shown. To create a sturdier television, the bases are doubled.
Glue 2 layers of the TV base together for the front and back layers of the TV. Glue feet to the front and back of each foot (so there will be 2 layers). This is to add stability.
The top and bottom base are butted together, and the thin detail piece added. For additional stability, turn over to the back and add 2 of the brown bars (from the test screen bar die) to the back as shown for both bases.
Bend tabs on 3D Vignette side pieces. There are 2 rows of side pieces and cross bars. Top Row: Separate 2 of the crossbars at the perforation to create 4. Insert crossbars to one side piece, then the other.
Bottom Row: Fold 4 crossbars and insert into the second set of Vignette side pieces so that it is a “V”; it will become a pocket for the insert to sit into.
Note the notches on the front edges of the TV base. Use them for alignment of the Vignette side pieces. Glue them to the back layer as shown.
Glue test pattern bars to scrap paper or cardstock and trim. Cut out screen; adhere reflection. Save remaining test pattern background for sentiments.
Assemble TV as shown. Some pieces are small. Tweezers are ideal to layer the pieces together.
To create more depth, use foam adhesive for the TV screen and test pattern layer, dial base, dials and speakers.
Adhere finished TV to the front tabs of the Vignette side pieces. Make sure that the front and back bases are even so that the TV will sit level.
For the inserts, cut out bases.
Tape sentiment dies as shown or as desired and die cut. Use remaining test
pattern background to back the sentiments or use
cardstock color of choice.
Glue together 2 layers of the antennae and adhere to the back of the antennae
base.
Glue to the back of one of the inserts. Use the remaining inserts for a
message or photo.
Place inserts between the top crossbars and sit in “pocket” of bottom row of
folded crossbars.
Folds flat but padded envelope if recommended for mailing.
