INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these instructions completely before you begin. This adorne™
device is designed for installation in standard electrical boxes. However,
some of the installation methods vary slightly from traditional methods. If
you do not understand these instructions or are unsure of your abilities, seek
the assistance of a qualified electrician.
Use only with Legrand adorne ™system.
WARNING
To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always disconnect power at the
service panel before beginning work.
When replacing existing outlets, label wires before disconnecting. Disconnect
old outlet.
Neutral (White)
Hot (Black)
Ground (Bare)
If necessary, cut wires and strip insulation using stripping guide on back of
outlet.
WARNING
Failure to connect the ground wire will result in an unsafe installation that
could lead to personal injury.
Connect new smart outlet as shown. Make sure the terminal holes are
clear. Insert wires into terminals and torque terminal screws to 14-16 inch-
pounds. Do NOT over-tighten.
- Connect the WHITE neutral wire(s) in the box to the “WHITE” terminal on the outlet
- Connect the HOT wire in the box to “LINE HOT” terminal on the outlet
- If a LOAD wire is present in the box, connect it to the “LINE HOT” terminal on the outlet
- Connect the ground wire in the box to the GROUND terminal on the side of the outlet
This outlet can be optionally wired to control downstream outlets. For more information, please see the resources section for this product on Legrand.us website.
WARNING: Do not pair different size wires in the same terminal. If you have different size wires, use a wire nut to add a 6 inch pigtail of the same gauge wire to the smaller gauge wire.

Set Up Your System
a. Download and launch the Legrand Home + Control app. The app is available on
the App Store or on Google Play.
b. Connect your smart device to your home network by following the step by
step instructions in the app.
c. Use the app to control your smart device.
LED Indicator Light Explanation

Getting to Know Your Outlet

Reset to Factory Default
Deleting a device from the app will reset it to factory defaults. To manually
reset the device to factory defaults, press and hold the EZ button for 10
seconds until you see the LED blink red, then release. The LED will change to
solid red when the reset is complete.

Snap wall plate to frame. There are three click-stops to adjust the fit of the wall plate to the device and the wall.
NOTE: To remove wall plate, insert a small, flat screwdriver in notches
on wall plate and twist gently to pry from frame.
Never apply cleaner directly to the dimmer or wall plate. Apply to a soft
cloth and use cloth to remove any smudges from the product.
