Reminders about Waterproof Casing
- Before opening the waterproof casing and putting the device in, carefully check whether the waterproof ring of the casing is flat and smooth.
- After placing the device in, carefully close the cover of the waterproof casing. Once closed, be sure that there are no deformities in the waterproof ring and that the case is closed securely.
Main Camera Modes
Your camera has different modes for the various camera functions. You can
switch modes by pressing the Mode/Power button once after the camera has been
powered on, then press the multi-function button to select the required
capture mode, and press the Shutter button to confirm. While in the Video or
Photo Mode, press and hold the Multi-function Button to switch between the
front and back screens. While in the Video or Photo Mode, press Multi-function
Button to open the Wi-Fi function. With Wi-Fi turned on, press Multi-function
Button to turn off Wi-Fi. To make changes to the camera’s setting, follow the
instructions below to enter multi-function setting interface:
After turning on the camera, while in the 2.0 inch Screen’s Video or Photo
Mode, press and hold the shutter button to open the current mode setting menu,
press Power/Mode Button to switch between different menus, current mode
setting menu – camera system setting menu – exit.
Note: While in the 1.3 inch Screen, it can only support take Videos or
Photos or turn on/off Wi-Fi, it can not support to make camera’s
settings.

Camera Setting Menu After turning on the camera, while in the 2.0 inch
Screen’s Video or Photo Mode, press and hold the shutter button to open the
current mode setting menu Press the Power/Mode button on the menu interface to
toggle between different setting menus: Current mode setting menu –OJ, Camera
system setting menu –OJ, Exit. Once you are in the desired setting menu, press
the Multi-function
button to scroll through and select a setting option. Then press the
Shutter/OK Button to enter the options for the selected setting. 5.1 Current
mode setting menu: In any working mode, if you open the menu setting, the
first page of the menu setting is the current working mode setting menu, and
the corresponding mode icon is displayed. Press the Multi-function button to
scroll through and
select a setting option, and then press the Shutter/OK button to confirm.
5.2 Camera system setting menu: Press the Power button to switch to this menu.
Press the Multi-function button to scroll through and select a setting option,
and then press the Shutter/OK button to
confirm. Exit: Press the Power button to toggle to the exit item. Then press
the Shutter button to confirm and exit.
Video Capture Mode
Use this mode to capture videos with your camera, when the camera is in Video
capture mode. To take a video, aim your camera as desired and press the
Shutter/OK button to start recording. To stop recording, press the Shutter/OK
button again. the Video is automatically saved to your camera’s memory card.
To access the various Video capture mode settings, while in the 2.0 Inch
Screen’s Video or Photo Mode, press the Power/Mode button to enter, press the
Multi-function button to choose normal recording, slowly recording, loop
recording or time-lapse recording mode. Select the recording mode and then
press the Shutter/OK button to confirm your choice. To access the various
Video capture menu settings, when in 2.0 Inch Screen’s Video Capture mode,
press and hold the Shutter/OK button to enter, Press the Power/Mode button to
toggle to the Video capture menu setting. Press the Multi-function button to
scroll through and select a setting option, then press the Shutter/OK
button to confirm.
Normal video mode
In this mode, press the Shutter/OK button to start recording. Press the
Shutter/OK button again to stop recording and save the file.
Slowly video mode
In this mode, the slowly video icon is displayed in the upper left corner of
the screen. You can set the slow motion and slow speed in this mode menu
setting. Select your option and then press the Shutter/OK button to confirm
Loop video mode
In this mode, the loop video icon is displayed in the upper left corner of the
screen. You can set the length of each video and video resolution in this mode
menu setting. Select your option and then press the Shutter/OK button to
confirm.
Time-lapse video mode
In this mode, the time-lapse video icon is displayed in the upper left corner
of the screen. Time-lapse recording parameters and video resolution can be set
in this mode menu setting. Select your option
and then press the Shutter/OK button to confirm
Note: When in Normal Video or Loop video mode, and in 4K 30FPS, 2.7K 30FPS, 1 0S0P 30FPS or 720P 30FPS resolution, you can open the EIS function.
Photo Capture Mode
Use this mode to capture pictures with your camera when the camera is in Photo capture mode. Press the Shutter/OK button to take the photo. The picture is automatically saved to your camera’s memory card. To access the various Photo capture mode settings, while in 2.0 Inch Screen’s Photo or Video Capture Mode, press the Power/Mode button to enter, press the Multi-function button to choose ordinary photo, automatic photo, burst photo or time-lapse photo capture mode. After selecting your option, press the Shutter/OK button to confirm your choice. To access the various Photo capture menu setting, when in 2.0 Inch Screen’s photo Capture mode, press and hold the Shutter/OK button to enter. Press the Power/Mode button to toggle to the Photo capture menu setting. Press the Multi-function button to scroll through and select a setting option, then press the Shutter/OK button to confirm.
Ordinary photo mode
In this mode, the camera icon is displayed in the upper left corner of the
screen. You can set the camera pixels and other parameters in this mode menu
setting. Press the Shutter/OK button to confirm.
Automatic photo
In this mode, the auto photo icon is displayed in the upper left corner of the
screen. You can set the photo interval in this mode menu setting. Press the
Shutter/OK Button, the camera starts to take photos continuously at the set
interval, press the Shutter/OK Button again to stop.
Burst photo mode
In this mode, the continuous photo icon is displayed in the upper left corner
of the screen. The number of continuous shots can be set in this mode’s menu
setting.
Note: The camera needs a certain amount of time to store the photos
during continuous photo shooting. When you press the Shutter/OK button before
the storage is completed, you cannot take another photo.
Timelapse photo mode
Class 10or higher Micro SD memory card(l 6-128GB) needed for normal use.
( Note :Please format it with this camera before using it.)
In this mode, the timer camera icon is displayed in the upper left corner of
the screen. You can set the timer time in this mode menu setting. Press the
“Shutter Button” to start the camera’s countdown. When the countdown ends the
photo is taken.
Video Album
After selecting this function, the camera enters the Video playback mode. In
this mode, press the Multi-function button to scroll through the videos files.
If you select a video, Press the Shutter/OK button to start the video playback
or to stop the video playback. If you would like to delete the video, please
select a video file, press and hold the Shutter/OK button to view the delete
menu options.
Photo Album
After selecting this function, the camera enters the Photo playback mode. In
this mode, press the Multi-function button to scroll through the photos files.
If you would like to delete the photo, please select a photo file, press and
hold the Shutter/OK button to view the delete menu options.
Connect to the HelloCam App
The HelloCam App lets you control the camera remotely using a smartphone or
tablet.
On your mobile device, please download “HelloCam” from either the Google Play
Store or ther Apple App Store. Alternatively, scan the QR code below to
download the App.
Press the Multi-function/Wi-Fi button to open the Wi-Fi function while in Video or Photo Mode. Your camera’s LCD screen will display the camera’s Wi-Fi name and password. The camera’s Wi-Fi name is “DVR923-XXXXXX”. The password is “12345678”. Search this Wi-Fi name in your mobile device’s Wi-Fi settings and select it to connect your camera to your mobile device. Enter the password on your mobile device when prompted to complete the connection. Then open the “HelloCam” App and start enjoying your camera with the App. Click “Connect the camera” to enter the APP operation interface. Click “Photo album” to enter the APP offline album, the pictures and videos downloaded from the camera album on the APP are saved here.

Video photo sharing
After downloading photos or videos from the camera album, they will be automatically saved in the HelloCam APP “Photo Album”. After the phone is connected to the network, open the HelloCam APP and enter the “Photo Album” to view or share the videos or photos that have been downloaded to the local. You can also view and share the videos or photos downloaded to the phone in the phone album .
