Govee H5054 Basic Water Leak Detector

Water Leak Detector
Govee Water Leak Detector is a device that sounds an alarm once detecting water drip or leak.

  • Sensor Contact : Detect water drip.
  • Sensor Probe : Detect water leak.
  • Push Button : Pause alarm/ Adjust volume.
  • Batteries : 2 X AAA Battery.

Packing List

Checking the Water Leak Detector

  1. Insulation sheet removal. Pull out the insulation sheet vertically.
  2. Status test Press the button and the detector beeps 1 s later, indicating it works well. If not, please open the back cover via a PHOO/PHO screwdriver to replace new batteries.
  3. Volume adjustment Adjust alarm volume by pressing the button twice within 1 s and the indicator will flash quickly. The volume level(J$ cycles through high – medium – low – mute, and default volume is high.
  4. Water detection alarm The detector will alarm if you drip some water on the sensor contact or put it on the surface with water.
  5. Alarm clear Press the Push Button to pause alarm for 5s. Remove the device from water and wipe it up to stop alarm completely.
    Notice : When the battery is low, the device sounds “dididi” and flash red slowly.

Pairing with the Gateway

Notice:

  • Only if you have bought a Govee gateway will this part be helpful.
  • If the detector is paired witha gateway, you will receive alert notifications via app or email once water leak is detected.
  1. Press the 433 Pairing Button” “and hold for 3s. The gateway will get ready to pair when the indicator flashes red and blue alternately;
  2. Put the detector nearby the gateway. Press the Push Button and the detector will send pairing signal;
  3. The gateway is receiving the signal;
  4. The gateway has paired with the water leak detector;
  5. Swipe down the device list page in app to refresh and you can find the new-added device;

Notice:

  • If the gateway fails to pair to the detector in 30s, its indicator will flash blue quickly and it will exit the pairing mode.
  • There’s 1 s delay for beep sound after you press the Push Button.
  • Please check the above steps and try again if pairing fails.

Troubleshooting

  1. The water leak detector cannot work.
  2. a. Pull out the insulation sheet before using.
  3. b. Open the back cover via a PH00/PH0screwdriver, remove and re-install the battery.
  4. c. Check whether the battery is running low.

Warning

  • Keep devices work temperature within 32°F – 140°F and humidity below 90%RH.
  • Do not disassemble devices violently.
