Download Mucar App and Login

Please search for “Mucar” in App Store or Google Play and download for free. Then log into your account. Please register for an account if you don’t have one (as shown in the picture).MUCAR-BT200-OBD2-Scanner-fig-

Activate Your MUCAR BT200

When you click on any diagnostic function, the following page appears. Click on the “Activate” button in Mucar App. Input the serial number and 8-digit activation code

Insert the MUCAR BT200 into Vehicle’s OBDII Port

As shown below, there are 5 common locations for OBDII port. Insert the MUCAR BT200, the device is power on if the light turns greenMUCAR-BT200-OBD2

Connect the App and Device via Bluetooth

After inserting the device into vehicle’s OBDII port, open the Mucar app and start the diagnosis. (It will automatically connect with the Bluetooth in the device during the diagnostic process).

Download the Diagnostic Software

MUCAR BT200 will automatically download the corresponding software for your vehicle during the diagnostics for the first time. Later, there is no need to download the software again.

Different Lights While Using Your Device

  • Continuous green light : The device is power on;
  • Continuous blue light : Bluetooth is connected;
  • Continuous red light : Please upgrade your firmware

Click “OBD fuction” on the home page to enter the OBD function. There are 8 function menus to choose from: Read fault code, clear fault code, read data stream, freeze frame, O2 sensor test, ON-BOARD montoring, EVAP systemMUCAR-

  1. Q: Why do I need to download the diagnostics software after downloading the App?
    A: Due to a variety of vehicle manufacturers on the market, different vehicle manufacturers require corresponding diagnostics software.Therefore, MUCAR BT200 will recognize the vehicle manufacturer first while diagnosing, then it will download the corresponding diagnostic software to work.

  2. Q: What vehicles can MUCAR BT200 diagnose?
    A: MUCAR BT200 is compatible with all vehicles supporting OBDII/EOBD protocols after 1996. Note: Depending on your vehicle, the diagnostics software size varies and the download speed is different as well. When first downloading the diagnostics software, it might require a good network connection.

  3. Q: What are the special functions of MUCAR BT200?
    A: MUCAR BT200 supports 15 special functions, including RESETAFS, RESET BLEED, RESET BMS, RESETBOX, RESET BRAKE, RESETDPF, RESETEGR, RESET ETS, RESETIMMO, RESETINJEC, RESET OIL, RESETSAS, RESETSUN, RESETSUS, RESETTPMS. According to different vehicle manufacturers’ diagnostics software, there will be more special functions to come.

  4. Q: Does MUCAR BT200 need a firmware upgrade?
    A: Yes, it does. When the MUCAR BT200 device is connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone, it will automatically check if the firmware on your device is the latest version. If it’s not, it will upgrade automatically.

  5. Q: What smartphones can download Mucar App?
    A: Mucar App supports smartphones with Android 5.0 and above, IOS 9.0 and above. It cannot be used on PC.

  6. Q: Can the same App account bind with multiple devices?
    A: Yes, you can set them up in the App.

  7. Q: How to use the points?
