OVERVIEW

INSTALLING THE CAGE

1. Place the camera into ‘1: the full camera cage. Take out ‘2’ the flat head screwdriver from the bottom of the camera cage. Insert the screw into the screw hole and tighten the screw.
2. The magnetic screwdriver can be stored under the bottom of the camera cage. (A coin can be used as a replacement.)

INSTALLING A7 IV SECURITY MOUNTING ATTACHMENT

1. ” A7 IV Security Mounting Attachment: Compatible with Sony A7 IV.
2. Locating Pin Attachment: Compatible with Sony A1/A7S II/A9/A9 IT/R4.
3. Locating Pin Attachment: Compatible with Sony A7 II/R3.

1. Uninstall the original triangle strap ring on the camera.
2. Align the “I” A7 IV Security Mounting Attachment, “II” Locating Pin Attachment, or “Ill” Locating Pin Attachment to the security mounting hole on the back of the  camera cage. Tighten the M2 tie down screw.

SWITCHING TOVERTICAL MOCE

1. When the camera cage is used vertically, the top and bottom sides can function as the side arms. (Pair with accessories such as a NATO rail, side arm, etc.)
2. When in vertical mode, the original right side arm can function as the bottom plate.
   (Pair with a quick release plate to mount onto a baseplate or DJI RS series gimbal.)

MOUNTING TO THE DJI RS 2 GIMBAL

ARCA Quick Release Plate
The camera cage has built-in ARCA quick release plate on the bottom. Supports quick and easy mounting on a gimbal or tripod.

INSTALLING TILTAING COMPACT NATO TOP HANDLE

Loosen the tie down screw. Slide the top handle onto the NATO rail on the top of the full camera cage.

Tighten the tie down screw.
The &§ cold shoe, ()1/4” -20 screw hole, 3/8” -16 screw hole, and 1/4” -20 screw hole with locating points on the top allow for more mounting options.

INSTALLING THE TOP HANDLE

QUICK RELEASE TOP HANDLE Cold shoe with safety screw provides quick and secure mounting.
[ ASSEMBLY ] Slide the (1) quick release top handle into the cold shoe mount with 1/4” -20 screw holes. Tighten the ‘2! tie down screw.

ADJUSTABLE TOP HANDLE
Flexible adjustment to meet your horizontal and vertical shooting needs.
[ ASSEMBLY ] Align the ‘1° adjustable top handle with the ARRI standard rosette.
Tighten the ‘2: tie down screw.

FUNCTIONS

Dual Cold Shoe Mounts
[Supports accessories such as on-board microphones, additional light, on-board monitor, phone holder, et.]

15mm Rod Holder
[Supports EVF bracket and other accessories.]

< VERTICAL MODE >
Press the release button to adjust the handle 180° and switch to vertical shooting mode.

INSTALLING WOODEN HANDLE & COLD SHOE RECEIVER ATTACHMENT

1. Loosen the tie down on the ‘1: side handle attachment and slide the (2: wooden handle onto the NATO rail on the left side of the cage.
2. Tighten the ‘3: tie down screw.
3. Align the cold shoe receiver attachment with the 1/4” -20 screw hole on top of the wooden handle.
4. Tighten the tie down screw.

INDTALLING SIDE HANDLE & SIDE HANDLE ATTACHMENT

The focus handle has USB-C 8V and DC 12V outputs. Please check and connect your equipment accordingly. Tilta is not responsible for any user errors.

1. Loosen the tie down on the ‘1: side handle attachment and slide the ‘2! wooden handle onto the NATO rail on the left side of the cage.
2. Tighten the ‘3’ tie down screw.

INSTALLING EF MOUNT LENS ADAPTER SUPPORT

Note: [The Tilta EF mount lens adapter support is compatible with the Metabones EF to E mount T CINE lens adapter.]

1. Disassemble the EF mount lens adapter. Attach the EF mount lens adapter to the camera.
2. Attach the lens adapter support to the lens adapter and tighten the tie down screws on the lens adapter support. Secure the lens adapter support to the camera cage by tightening the M3 screws.

INSTALLING NATO RAIL & HDMI CLAMP ATTACHMENT

1. Install @ NATO rail.
   Align the NATO rail with the 1/4” —20 screw holes on the left side. Tighten the tie down screws.

2. Installing HDMI clamp attachment
   [HDMI clamp attachment |: Compatible with cameras that have the HDMI port toward the top of the camera’ s side (such as the A7 IV). Mounts to the 1/4” -20 screw  hole with locating points on the side arm of the cage. ] [HDMI clamp attachment I : Compatible with cameras that have the HDMI port toward the bottom of the camera’ s side (such as the A1). Mounts to the M3 screw holes on the left side of the cage. ]
