IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS AND PRECAUTIONS

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Read all instructions carefully and keep for future reference.
  • Do not use rechargeable batteries in this appliance
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries, alkaline or rechargeable batteries with different capacity together – they may leak.
  • Always turn the unit off, when not in use. Leaving it on will shorten the life of the batteries.
  • If you plan not to use the unit for a length of time, remove the batteries. Old batteries can leak and cause corrosion, damaging the unit.
  • The use of long life alkaline batteries is recommended.
  • DON’T throw the battery in fire or dispose of in household waste. Consult your local authority in the correct way to dispose of unwanted batteries.
  • DON’T short-circuit the supply terminals of the batteries.
  • Always check the correct polarity when inserting batteries. Incorrect polarity can damage this unit.

LOCATION OF CONTROLS

  •  Remove the battery compartment cover. This is located underneath the base of the lamp.
  •  Insert 2 x D’ Batteries (Not Included), taking care to follow the correct polarity markings on the unit
  •  Reattach the battery compartment cover, being sure that it clicks securely into place.
  •  Twist the On/Off/ Dimmer Switch clockwise to tum the lamp ‘On’. The switch will click to indicate that there is power to the unit.
  •  Continue to twist clockwise or anti-clockwise until the desired dimmer setting is achieved.
  •  Twist the On/Off/ Dimmer switch anti-clockwise until it clicks to turn the lamp ‘Off.

Note: This product is weatherproof from light rain showers. It is not suitable for use in extreme weather conditions. Do Not submerge the lamp in water.
