The use of accessory attachments not recommended by Capresso may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
Always fill the kettle first, then set the appliance onto the power base, and finally plug the cord into the outlet. To disconnect, remove the kettle from Power Base, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
Always make sure that the lid is closed during operation. Scalding may occur when the lid is open during operation.
To avoid scalding, never fill pot above the “MAX” line marking on the kettle.
Extreme caution must be used when moving the kettle containing hot water.

CLEANING

Always unplug the cord of the power base before cleaning.
Make sure the kettle is cold.
Clean the exterior surface with a clean, damp, soft cloth.
Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring agents.
Rinse out the kettle and wipe dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

TO BOIL WATER

Remove kettle from base.
Open the lid until it stands vertically. DO NOT BEND THE LID FURTHER BACK!
Close lid.
Place kettle on Power Base.
Plug cord into a wall outlet.
When the water comes to a boil the kettle will turn off automatically, the on-switch will jump down.
Lift kettle from the base and pour water out slowly.
IMPORTANT Open lid (A) at a 90º angle, when pouring all of the water at once into another container. This way hot steam will be diverted away from the hand holding the handle (D).
Replace kettle.
