Quick Guide

Hotkey and LED Guide

Hotkey Function Actions LED Status
Turn on Dl Press once LED stays white for 3s
Turn off DI Press for 2s LED stays red for 3s
Wait to connect( Dl auto enters paring mode once it’s on) LED blinks red

Disconnect Dl| Press for 5s until the LED Rashes red and white alternately
Hotkey Functions (Default Template)

  1. Only available after pairing the DI with the iPad via Bluetooth.
  2. You can also customize hotkey function in metapoem app.

Note:

  1. D1 will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
  2. Pairing mode takes 30 seconds each time. Check the “How to Pair D1 with iPad part”.
  3. Taking photos only works when Camera is on.

How to Pair with D1

Enable Bluetooth →→ Tap the Hotkey once to activate D1 →> Search “Pencil D1” in the device -> Pair “Pencil D1”.

Battery Power Display

Long press the empty space on the home screen ->Click “+” ->Find the “Battery”, choose your preferred display.

Replace the tip

Please unscrew the old tip counterclockwise, then screw the new tip clockwise. Do not directly pull it out.
