SETUP

  1. Set Arctic Ai( Pure Child on a flat surface such as a table or desk. Attach the Power Adapter to Power Adapter Port, and plug Power Adapter into the wall outlet.
    NOTE: Use built-in Cord Guides along the back to keep the cord away from the fan.

  2. Use the Filter Drawer Tab to pull out the filter drawer & remove the filter.

  3. For best results, lightly pre-soak under cold, running water. For even more cooling power, place a wet filter in the freezer until frozen.  Place it back in the drawer when done.

  4. Fill the water tank by gently pouring water into the center opening until the level reaches near the top. You can check by looking at the side of the tank.

FOR BEST RESULTS

Remove the water tank lid and place ice cubes in the tank prior to filling it with water, and put the lid back on. This will provide an extra cold blast of air. Repeat as ice cubes melt.

USAGE

  1. Press the buttons to turn Arctic Ai( Pure Child on – it will default to High-speed mode.

    • 1st press: Power on, High
    • 2nd press: Medium
    • 3ro press: Low
    • 4th press: Power off
      NOTE: Arctic Ai( Pure Child will run up to 8 hours on High, 10 hours on Medium, & 12 hours on Low.
  2. Use the Air Direction Tab to adjust airflow up/down to your preference.

  3. Choose your light color by pressing a button. You can choose between solid colors or a color-cycle mode.
    Color order: Blue, Red, White, Teal, Purple, Yellow, Green, Color Cycle

IMPORTANT: If you do not plan to use Arctic Air” Pure Chill” for an extended period of time, it is recommended that you empty and let the unit & filter dry before storing. This will avoid mold and unpleasant smells, and prolong the life of Arctic Air Pure Chief and the filter.

MAINTENANCE

We recommend weekly cleaning of your Arctic Air” Pure Chill” and Filter to keep them in the best working condition, and replacing the Filter every 3-6 months.

  • DISHWASHER: Place the filter in the top rack of your dishwasher & run the cycle normally. Remove and let air dry.
  • HAND WASH: Hand washes gently with warm water & soap. Shake out excess water & let to air dry
  • MICROWAVE: Between washes, sanitize your filter by placing it in the microwave on high for 30 seconds. increments, up to 2 minutes. Let sit until cool.

IMPORTANT: If you see mold on the filter or notice a musty smell, stop and clean the filter before further use. Fully submerge the filter in a pot or bowl filled with equal parts clean water and white vinegar – allow to soak for 45-60 minutes. Rinse with warm water, wring out and let air dry.

UNIT CLEANING

  • To prepare for cleaning, run Arctic Air” Pure Chill” until all water has emptied from the water tank, or hold Arctic Air” Pure Chill” over a sink and carefully dump out to avoid splashing or spilling.
  • Remove the Filter tray from Arctic Air” Pure Chill”. Using warm, soapy water, wipe the filter tray and grill, then rinse off until clean. Let air dry.
  • If you notice the water tank is dirty, use a small, bendable brush (i.e. toothbrush, bottle brush, etc) and carefully clean the inside of the tank until clean. Rinse clean with warm water.

Warning

  • Do not carry Arctic Air” Pure Chill” when filled with water. Some water may remain in the unit even if the tank is empty.
  • Use only clean water. If needed, use distilled water.
  • Please read and follow regular maintenance as recommended in the “Maintenance• section of this guide.
  • Arctic Air” Pure Chill” works best in non-polluted areas. Large dust/dirt particles may reduce the lifetime of the unit.
  • We recommend using only in dry locations. If using in a moist area or environment, take care not to get water on external areas of the product.
  • If a leak or spill occurs on the surface of the device, unplug Arctic Air” Pure Chill” & let it dry for 24 hours. Then, use it as normal.
  • Do not place in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
  • Before not using Arctic Air” Pure Chill” for extended periods of time, empty the water tank, turn unit on, and set to highest fan speed for at least 4 hours. This will dry out then filter and inside of your unit.
  • Only use the original power adapter and cord supplied in package.
  • Do not touch the power supply or power cord with wet hands.
  • Unplug Arctic Air” Pure Chill” when cleaning, removing/replacing the filter, or moving the device.
  • For best results, place Arctic Air” Pure Chill” on a higher surface like a table or countertop.
  • Do not place Arctic Air” Pure Chill” near a heater or any electrical equipment.
  • Do not place the device in passageways or high-traffic areas where there is a possibility of tripping or knocking it over.
  • Do not allow any foreign objects inside Arctic Air” Pure Chill”.
  • Do not place items on top of Arctic Air’s” Pure Chill”.
  • Do not block the front and back grills of the device.
  • Do not turn the device upside down.
  • Do not submerge the Arctic Air” Pure Chill” under water or other liquids.
  • Do not place Arctic Air” Pure Chill” near open flames or fire sources.
  • People with limited physical, visual, or mental abilities or lacking proper experience and/or knowledge should never use the device without the supervision of those responsible for their safety or those capable of assistance in using the device.
  • The device can be switched off completely only when disconnected from the power supply.
  • The manufacturer does not bear any responsibility for any damage from failure to comply with this product guide.
  • A replaceable water filter is designed specifically for this product. If your cartridge has been
    broken or damaged, you can purchase a replacement.

What is the difference between the Arctic Ai( Pure Child and the Arctic Ai( Pure Child?****

The main difference is that the Arctic Ai( Pure Child has a built-in water tank, while the Arctic Ai( Pure Child does not.

How do I clean my filter?****

To clean your filter, remove it from the unit and rinse with cold water. Shake off excess water, and let it air dry. You may also wash it in a washing machine on a gentle cycle. Dry completely before re-installing it into your unit.

How do I clean my water tank?****

To clean your water tank, fill with warm water and a few drops of mild liquid soap. Shake gently to remove any excess water. Rinse thoroughly before refilling with fresh water for optimal cooling performance.

What is the warranty on my Arctic Air Cooler?****

How long does the Arctic Air Pure Chill last?****

One fill of Arctic Air Pure Chill® 2.0 can last up to ten hours. Runtime will vary according on the speed setting, the ambient temperature, and the relative humidity in the space.

Does Arctic Air Pure Chill turn off automatically?****

On a top-fill water tank, this portable air cooler can run for up to ten hours. Additionally, it includes an auto-off timer.

If you see that the inside of the water tank is unclean, carefully clean the inside of the tank with a small, flexible brush (such as a toothbrush, bottle brush, etc.). Wash thoroughly with warm water.

Does Arctic air work in high humidity?****

When the unit was on high, we could only feel it functioning from a distance of less than three feet. The product guide for Arctic Air states on the last page that it should only be used in dry regions, yet the commercial omitted this crucial information. Humid environments don’t work well for Arctic Air!
