to set up your Mecool TV stick and begin streaming your favorite movies and TV
shows.

Before you begin, locate the 2 AAA batteries for the mecool TV stick Remote. Insert the 2 AAA batteries into the TV stick Remote control.

MECOOL TV Stick
- HDMI connector – Connect to an HDMI port on a TV
- LED – Display the status of the TV stick
- Micro USB port – Connect the Micro USB connector to this port
- USB – Play media files, software upgrades, etc. in the U disk
USB Y-CABLE
- Micro USB connector – Connect to the Micro USB port on the TV Stick.
- USB power connector – Connect to USB power adapter.

Get Started
Connect the TV Stick to your TV
- Plug the TV Stick into an HDMI port on your TV.
- Connect the micro-USB cable between the Stick and the included power adapter. Plug the power adapter into an A/C power outlet.
- Turn on your TV, then press the TV’s Input or Source button to select the HDMI input that the TV stick is conn ected to. The LED light on the TV stick will light up, and the screen will display the remotecontrol pairing interface.

BT remote control pairing
Press and hold the VOL- and OK button on the remote control until the indicator on the remote control flashes. After the pairing is successful, it will automatically quit this menu.
Connect to Network
Mecool TV stick requires a wireless connection. Connect your device to the
Internet to access movies, TV shows, games, and the other apps. The TV Stick
will automatically detect wireless networks in your area. Select your network
and enter the password to connect.
Note:
- For optimal wireless performance, do not place your TV Stick in an enclosed cabinet, as it impacts signal strength to the device and remote control.
- For TV Stick, use the HDMI extension cable if your TV Stick is blocked by an object that may impact signal strength to the device and remote control.
Sign in to your google account
To use Google Assistant, Google Play Store, you must sign in to your Google
Account.
System settings function:
Change the system language
Open Settings – Device Preferences – Language to select system language.
Firmware Update
Run the update app, select OTA update, the device will detect and update to
the latest verison.
Note: DO Not power off the device during updating process.
Please do not download any third party software to upgrade.This product uses
genuine system. The upgrade will only opera! through OTA,or please contact the
dealer to upgrade.
Factory data reset
Open “Settings-Device Preferences-About-Factory Reset”, be carefully to do
this, after factory data reset, all data will be erased.
Troubleshooting:
In any case, please do not open it by yourself or try to repair the TV stick, so as not to invalidate the warranty. If any problem occur, you can check it first by referring to the methods listed below. If you are unable to resolve the issue through the list below, please contact the dealer for assistance.
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
TV no signal | 1. Disconnect the power cable from the power outlet. Wait for |
one minute then reconnect it.
2. Make sure that the power cable is securely connected.
3. Make sure the white light is on after the TV stick is turned on.
4. Confirm that the TV signal source has been switched to the HDMI channel
inserted by TV Stick.
5. Wait 1 minute after turning on the TV stick, then press the power off
button of the remote when TV stick ( Note: please only press the button once
at
5 seconds later if the TV stick automatically turns red, the TV stick
normally. Check if the cable connection is
working and the TV source settings are correct, If the TV stick does not turn
red light. please contact the seller for help.
WIFI co nnection fails| 1. Check signal strength for WIFI connection the TV
Stick may be too far away from WIFI router.
2. Make sure password is entered with correct upper or lower case letters.
3. Check if TV stick is connected correctly WIFI,
4. Try powering off and unplugging TV stick to restart.
5. Try restart the WIFI router, and also check for interference or WIFI
channel problems.
Unable to use voice function| 1. Make sure the BT remote control Paired
successfully in the settings-Remotes&Devices menu.
2. Make sure the TV stick is connected to the network. Please play You Tube
video to confirm that the network is working.
3. Go to the settings-Remotes&Devices menu, delete the remote from the list
and pair it again.
The remote control does not respond
sometimes| 1. Please replace the battery and try again.
2, Please confirm that the use distance is within 6 meters.
3. Confirm if the bluetooth remote control matches successfully in the setup
menu.
Play video but no sound| 1. Make sure that the volume of the TV and TV stick
is not muted or set to zero.
2. If the play source is a special format, you can contact the dealer to help
do a test verification.
Some apps cannot be searched| As TV Stick used the Android TV system, the
Google Play Store is also the TV version which all the apps from it are
designed for the TV version. The apps in it are all the TV version. There is
no mobile version of the app. If you can’t find the app you want to download
it means that this app does not have the TV version. If you need to install
and use such apps, please contact the dealer to help check if you can find the
appropriate compatible version for use.
Other questions| If there are any other problems that cannot be solved
yourself, or you do not understand some features for this device, please
contact the dealer directly we are happy to help.
