Before you begin! Read this Installation Guide conscientiously before installing the Signature Bed Extension Platform.

General Information and Safety

The Opera Signature Bed 8” Extension Platform is designed to extend the Opera Signature Profiling Bed by 200mm (8”) for taller users.

The Opera Signature Bed 8” Extension Platform is designed to be used with the Opera Signature Profiling beds. Opera will not be liable for any hazards, injury or damage arising from using the extension platform incorrectly or with a different bed.

Installation and Commissioning

Remove Footboard

Remove the side rails by loosening the bolts on the side of the footboard and placing the side rails onto the floor. Loosen the bolts (a) under the Signature Profiling Bed chassis using an allen key and pulling out the footboard. Set the footboard on the floor. Remove the two T-brackets on the footboard by unscrewing the screws.

1. Remove the side rail screw and lower side rails.
   

2. Loosen bolts and remove headboard.
   

3. Remove T-brackets by removing the screws.
   

Re-attach the Footboard

Place the longer T-bracket (A) over the holes and feed the screws through to secure in place. Take the extension platform (B) and slide it all the way into the T-brackets. Screw the extension platform screws (C) into the holes at the bottom of the extension platfom to fix it into place. Align the footboard with the mattress platform and slide into place. Tighten the securing bolts on both sides with an allen key.

1. Screw the longer T-brackets onto the footboard.
   

2. Fix the extension platform onto the T-brackets.
   

3. Slide the footboard into the mattress platform.
   

4. Tighten the bolts with an allen key.
   

Attach Side Panel

Line up the additional side skirt infill (D) panel and tighten the side skirt screw (E) using an allen key
