EXTECH ET26B 4 Way Circuit Tester
OPERATION
To check a circuit for voltage, insert the test leads into outlet or carefully touch test leads to the electrical contacts or conductor to be tested. If voltage is present, the neon indicator will light in that range, indicating the voltage level of the circuit. See Figure 1. To test for the live side of a receptacle, insert one probe into the ground post of the receptacle while inserting the other probe into the alternate slots of the receptacle. The neon indicator will light when the probe makes contact with the live side of the outlet. See Figure 2 The unique design allows for easy one hand testing of outlets. See Figure 3.
WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. Always check proper operation on a known working circuit before using. Do not use outside of marked/rated voltage.
