About Driver
- Windows users: the product includes a built-in wireless driver, Windows users that use Windows XP 32-bit/Windows 7 or later please follow steps below to complete installation.
- Windows XP 64-bit/macOS/Linux users: visit UGREEN official website and search “CM496 (Product Model) “, or go to “T a>”NEWFIK” to find the driver for installation.
Step 1. Driver Installation
(Take Windows 10 as an Example)

Insert the adapter into USB port of your PC/laptop.

The “Wireless” Window will pop up at the bottom right corer on your screen, please double click and select “Setup.exe” for further installation.
Tip: If the popup window doesn’t show up, please select “I his PC” and double click “Ugreen Wireless” icon. Note: Windows 8.1/10 “This PC”, Windows XP “My Computer”, Windows Vista to Windows 8 “Computer”,
Step 2. Connect to Wireless Network
(Take Windows 10 as an Example)

Click or at the bottom right corner of your PC/laptop.

Select your Wi-Fi name, and enter the password to connect

If the connection is successful, then you can start using the wireless network.

- You can try to adjust the direction of antenna for a better performance when the signal is not stable enough.
