Before switching on the mixer, make sure that the container is correctly placed on the motor block and that the lid with the lid insert (cap) is on the container.

  • Do not place the unit on a hot surface.

  • Keep away from any heat source and direct sunlight.

  • Do not use the appliance to crush large ice cubes or frozen foods.

  • Only use the supplied container. Other containers and accessories not supplied with this unit may cause personal injury.

  • Do not put dry ingredients in the container before switching on the appliance.

  • Ensure that the container is filled to only 2/3 of its capacity during the mixing process.

  • Be careful when mixing hot liquids. Fill the container only to the 1 litre mark. Allow steaming food / liquids to cool down a little, then fill in and mix. Hold the lid firmly. • During operation, the lid with the lid insert (cap) must be on the container.

  • When switching on the appliance and also during operation, hold one hand on the container.

  • Always start the mixer in the low position or with one of the keys „35“ – „60“ or „90“.

  • Only when the knives have come to a complete standstill may the container be removed from the engine block. This also applies to the container cover, which may only be removed when the knives are at a standstill.

  • Only use the unit on a stable, level and non-slip surface.

  •  If you pull the mains plug, always pull the plug housing and never the cable. Always switch off the appliance first.

  • Do not touch the appliance, power cord or plug with wet hands.

  • Always turn off the appliance and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet when cleaning the appliance, when it is to be repaired, when it is not in use, or when removing or inserting the knife unit.

  • Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. There is a risk of fatal electric shock!

  • Repairs may only be carried out by a qualified specialist using original spare parts or spare parts recommended by the manufacturer. Never attempt to repair the unit yourself.

  •  If you do not wish to use the appliance for a longer period of time, unplug the appliance from the mains and clean it.

INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION

  • Before using the mixer for the first time, clean all parts thoroughly with a mild commercial detergent (see Cleaning).
  • Insert the plug into the socket.
  • Place the container with the blends on the motor block. Make sure that there is at least enough in the cup to cover the knives.
  • Small additions of food or liquids that are to be added during mixing can be added to the container by briefly removing the lid insert (cap).
  • Basically, liquids should first be added to the container, followed by solid food a little later. There must always be some liquid in the container during operation, especially if you want to crush ice cubes, but not large ones.
  • Fruit, vegetables, meat, etc. to be processed in the container must be cut into small pieces beforehand. The pieces should not be larger than about 2 cm.
  • Do not fill the container completely. Gradually put small quantities of food into the container for processing.
  • Place the lid with the lid insert (cap) correctly on the container.
  •  Switch on the machine by pressing the on/off switch (9).
  • Always start the mixer at the low setting or with one of the keys „35“ – „60“ or „90“.
  • The „35“ – „60“ and „90“ keys are programmed for automatic mixing and automatic shutdown.

PROGRAM PROCESS

  • Button 35 is for slow acceleration up to maximum speed. After 35 seconds the mixer is automatically switched off.
  • Button 60 is for slow start up to maximum speed and repetition. After 60 seconds the mixer is automatically switched off.
  • Key 90 for slow start up to maximum speed and four repetitions. After 90 seconds the mixer is automatically switched off.
  • The HIGH, MEDIUM and LOW buttons do not have automatic power off. If one of these buttons is selected, the mixer will remain in operation at this speed. To turn off the unit, simply press any key. The pulse function button for interval operation must be kept pressed to achieve the fastest speed.
  • The device stops automatically in case of overload. If anything blocks the knives, the motor may heat up. In this case, switch off the appliance and unplug the appliance
  • Remove the container and place the contents in another container. Allow the appliance to cool down. Then press the reset button on the back or on the bottom of the unit (depending on the model).
  • Depending on the length of the mixing period, the food to be mixed can warm up. To avoid this, add small amounts of ice to the food to be mixed.
  • With the tappet, the ingredients can be safely pressed onto the rotating knives to work quickly and efficiently.
  • When using the plunger, please make sure that the lid is made of soft material which can yield slightly under pressure.
  • Do not force the plunger, otherwise it could reach the rotating blades and damage the machine/plunger.
  • Do not operate the BPA-free container (tritan container) with hot food for a longer period of time (less than 90 seconds), otherwise the container could be deformed.
  •   Steaming food / liquids create an even higher pressure in the container, so let it cool down before pouring into the mixer, otherwise the lid could still jump off when you hold it (risk of injury!).
  • During operation, the motor (carbon brushes) may produce a slight odour. This is normal and not a defect.
