PRODUCT SPECIFIC SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING
- The Trim Router Table MUST be securely clamped to a stationary support or fastened with screws through all three predrilled holes at the back of the table to a longer piece of hardwood that is securely clamped to a stationary support. See the instructions for proper cleat dimensions. Failure to properly secure the Trim Router Table to a solid work surface could result in serious injury and property damage.
- To avoid serious injury, turn off and unplug your router before attaching the Acrylic Router Base, changing the cutter, adjusting the cutter height or altering the fence position.
- This Trim Router Table is not designed to support large work pieces or to be used as a work space to hold heavy items.

ROUTER MOUNTING HOLE KEY
Assembling the Table
- Attach the Bit Guard (2) to the front face of the Fence (4) with the #8-32 Round Knobs (7).
- Thread the 1/4″-20 Three Star Knobs (8) into the threaded inserts in the back of the Fence (4). These knobs are for attaching the optional Router Table Dust Port (21528, sold separately).
- Insert the two 5/16″-18 x 31⁄2″ T-Bolts (5) in the holes that run vertically through the Fence (4) and thread on the 5/16″-18 Fence Hold-Down Knobs (6). Don’t tighten the knobs; the bottoms of the T-Bolts need to extend down far enough to fit into the slots in the table.
- If you plan to attach your Trim Router Table to a longer board or cleat that can be clamped to a stationary support, do that now. The board or cleat must be hardwood (DO NOT use MDF or plywood) that is at least 3/4″ thick and 24″ long. It is recommended to use a board that is as wide as possible but that does not interfere the leveling screws underneath. Minimum width is 21⁄2″. You MUST drive #8 screws of appropriate length for the thickness of your cleat material through all three predrilled and counterbored holes along the back of the table into the cleat. Fig. 1.
- Install the Fence (4) on the Tabletop (1) by inserting the 5/16″-18 x 31⁄2″ T-Bolts (5) into the round access holes in the Tabletop and sliding the Fence toward the back. The T-bolts should engage in the stepped slots on the underside of the table. Fig. 1.
- Working from the underside of the Tabletop, install the three Leveling Screws (9) in the three holes in the lip of the center opening. These screws will enable you to fine-tune the height of the Acrylic Router Base (3) so that it sits flush to the face of the Tabletop (1); they also will register the three stopped holes in the underside of the Acrylic Router Base to keep it from shifting during use. Fig. 2.
Installing Acrylic Router Base
- Unthread the screws holding the original baseplate to your trim router and remove the baseplate. Keep track of the screws; you will use them to mount the Acrylic Router Base (3) to your router.
- Peel the protective film from both sides of the Acrylic Router Base (3).
- Position the Acrylic Router Base (3) on the base of your upturned router, making sure the counterbored holes are facing up, and use the Router Mounting Hole Key on Page 5 to find the set of mounting holes that matches your router’s base. If your router doesn’t line up with the predrilled mounting holes, you will need to mark, drill and counterbore holes to match your router. Fig. 3.
- Attach the Acrylic Router Base (3) to your router with the screws you removed in Step 1. Make sure the screws are tightened adequately.
Installing Router in Table
- Move the Fence (4) so you have full access to the center opening of the Tabletop (1).
- Lower the router and Acrylic Router Base (3) into the center opening, making sure to align the three stopped holes on the underside of the Base with the three Leveling Screws (9).
- Use a straightedge or your finger to check whether the Acrylic Router Base (3) is flush with the Tabletop (1).
- If it is not flush, adjust the Leveling Screws (9) until the Baseplate is flush with the Tabletop (1). Make sure the Leveling Screws are seated in the three stopped holes on the underside of the Base to prevent the Base from shifting during use.
