Warranty
Warranty for your Strettler product
Strettler products are rigorously tested to ensure that the products you rely on meet the most stringent requirements. If a problem arises with the product already purchased due to manufacturing defects related to the material or workmanship of the product, Strettler will replace the product at its sole discretion in accordance with the warranty conditions set forth below.
All Strettler products are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. The warranty is not extended after the performance of services under this warranty, in particular in the case of replacement of a product or part of a product. In these cases, the warranty period does not start again.
Written notice of defects
The consumer can make use of the warranty rights by notifying Strettler in writing within the warranty period. It is the consumer’s responsibility to prove that the warranty has not expired by providing proof of purchase of the product. The notification of the defect to Strettler must include photos of the defect and the order number to info@strettler.com.
Services in case of warranty
In case of replacement, the product will be replaced free of charge with a new product of the same quality and quantity. If the product is no longer in production at the time of notification of the defect, Strettler is entitled to supply a similar product. If Strettler chooses to send a replacement part, Strettler will bear the cost of the replacement part, including shipping costs.
Conditions and exclusion of warranty
The warranty is subject to compliance with the operating instructions and the use of Strettler products in accordance with Strettler’s technical instructions, instructions for use and maintenance. Technical instructions and instructions for use are included with each product.
The warranty does not extend to:
- Wearable parts, such as zippers, shoulder straps, etc.;
- Operating errors, damage due to aggressive environmental influences, chemicals, cleaning agents and intensive sunlight.
The validity of the warranty ends with
- Failure to comply with the technical instructions, the instructions for use and the maintenance;
- Product damage caused by third parties;
- Damage due to normal wear and tear or intentional and negligent injury;
- Improper commissioning;
- Lack of or improper maintenance/care;
- Products repaired by anyone other than Strettler;
- Theft or loss of the product;
- Sell second-hand;
- Resale through third parties
