FOLDING BIKE
Service and users manual
Introduction
Congratulations with your new PACTO folding bike. To make sure that you fully
enjoy your new folding bike we strongly recommend reading this service and
users manual carefully.
Pay attention…
• Details
Have your new PACTO fully checked by an authorised bike specialist before you
start riding.
- A compact folding bike has several latches and hinges which need to be adjusted properly and need cleaning and lubrication regularly.
- The maximum weight your PACTO may carry is 110kg. This is the total weight of the rider plus luggage.
- Do not adjust your seat post any higher than the maximum adjustment mark and make sure the seatpost clamp has been tightened properly.
- Do not adjust your stem any higher than the maximum adjustment mark and make sure the handlepost clamp has been tightened properly.
- Check the air pressure of the tires regularly. This avoids premature wear of the tyre and you will notice it cycles a lot better.
- Keep the chain and other moving parts of your folding bike clean and lubricate these parts regularly.
Keep your bike proper and clean it regularly with water. In case of using a high pressure cleaner make sure you keep a minimum distance of 30cm from parts with bearings to avoid water penetrating the hub or bottom bracket. Lubricate moving parts immediately after cleaning the bike and use an anti-rust spray for protection of the steel parts.

Maintenance
It is highly recommended to bring your bike to an authorised dealer for
adjustments, maintenance and reparations. Regularly maintenance is very
important. The frequency depends of course on the use but a minimum of once a
year is highly recommended.
