Frequently Asked Questions
Is water window is made of plastic?
I want a new version could have an INNER glass water window that touches the water rather than an OUTSIDE plastic water window.
What is a voltage/power specification?****
120V/60Hz/1500W
Is there a keep-warm function?****
No, there is no warm function. The power switch automatically turns off when it boils.
Regular users How durable is the plastic window?****
It works perfectly hot water quickly, Not an issue.
Will the switch remain be in the ON position if the power is turned off?****
Off is off, however as a precaution, it should be unplugged while not in use to prevent a mistaken switch-on.
Should this be left plugged in or unplugged after each use?****
When the water reaches a boil, it turns off. It is not necessary to unplug it. However, you might feel more comfortable disconnecting it when you’re at home or when it’s not in use, as with many appliances with heating elements.
Is it usable in America?****
A 220 Volt version might function, like most electrical products, but it will operate much more slowly. The opposite approach does not work. What makes you want that, though? My advice is to get a 110 V model for the US and a 220 V model for Europe.
Does anyone know the length of the cable for this kettle?****
Calculated for you. 32″ measure from plug to base.

Is it okay for the extra cord to remain wrapped in the base while in use?****
The cord is not wrapped in the base, as I just verified with ours. The chord is quite short; therefore it is not a problem for us. If it’s crucial, I would confirm with the manufacturer.
After boiling water, is the side hot to the touch? Will it burn?****
Every kettle I’ve purchased in the past 60 years has heated up when water is boiled in it. To prevent any issues, there is a lovely plastic handle.

Two facets, It’s a terrific small kettle, by the way.
