TIPS & TRICKS
Always start on a low heating setting and work up to a higher one where it is needed; it takes less time for the Steam Iron to heat up than it does to cool down. It is advised that the steam button is used for short bursts rather than prolonged periods of time. This can prevent water dripping from the steam holes and can reduce the frequency of needing to refill the water tank. Before each use, check the case labels on the fabrics to be ironed do that the correct temperature setting is selected.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Before attempting any cleaning or maintenance, always unplug the Steam Iron
from the mains power supply and allow it to cool for approximately 30 minutes.
Drain the remaining water from the water tank to prevent it leaking during
cleaning. Wipe the Steam Iron with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. To
remove any build-up around the steam holes, use a cotton wool tip dampened
with methylated spirits.
Wipe off the methylated spirits with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Do not immerse the Steam Iron in water or any other liquid.
