INSTALLATION
- Stick the rubber plates (E and F) to the adapter feet (B).
- Place the adapter feet over the predrilled holes in the roof. Install two brackets, as much as possible, to the extreme ends of the awning and the third one, as much as possible, in the middle of the awning (see fig. 2).
- Remove the rubber inserts from the holes on the outside and inside of the vehicle .
- Position the adapter feet above the holes and put the screws M6x40 (H) trough it.
- Install the counter plates (C) on the inside of the vehicle. Fix them with the delivered plate screws 4.8×16. Drill 04.2mm holes (fig. 3).
- Fix the adapter feet onto the roof. Fill the holes with silicon paste or butyl kit first (fig. 4-H). Make sure that the adapter feet are aligned.
- Drill 04.2 mm holes for the plate screws 4.8×16 (fig.4-L) in the roof. Fill out the holes with silicon paste or butyl kit and screw in the plate screws.
- Assemble the adapter plates (A) on their foot (B). Don’t forget the small screw 4.2×16 (0) preventing the adapterplate from moving on its foot (fig. 1).
- Hang the awning in the adapters.
- Drill 05mm holes through the back of the box and the brackets. Fasten the box to each bracket with a screw M4x12 (fig.5,6,7-J).
REMARKS
– In order not to damage the vehicle wall, never roll out the awning
completely without getting the support arms out.
– Check regularly whether the adapters are well fixed to the vehicle.
