Read the following instruction carefully before using the appliance for the first time

  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
    of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  • Children shall not play with the appliance.

  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

  • The appliance may only be connected to a power supply whose voltage

  • Never use or pick up the appliance if

    • the supply cord is damaged,
    • the housing is damaged.
  • The appliance must only be connected to an earthed socket. If necessary an extension cable suitable for 10 A can be used.

  • If the appliance or the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the avoid hazard.

  • Always place the appliance on a level surface.

  • Never leave the appliance unattended while connected to the supply mains.

  • The appliance must be switched off and the mains plug withdrawn each time after use, before cleaning and maintenance.

  • The appliance and accessories become hot during operation. Use only designated handles and knobs. Allow to cool down before cleaning or storage.

  • The mains cable must not come into contact with any hot parts of the appliance.

  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

  • Do not exceed the maximum filling volume as indicated on the appliances.

  • When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and on all sides for air circulation. On surfaces where heat may cause a problem, an insulated heat pad is recommended.

  • To reduce the risk of injury, when removing the glass lid, always lift and tilt the lid away from you to avoid scalding and allow water to drip back into the slow cooker.

  • Never place the removable ceramic vessel directly on a heated surface as this may cause the ceramic vessel to crack.

  • Do not use or place the appliance on a hot surface or near source of heat.

  • This appliance is intended for domestic use only. The manufacturer cannot accept any liability for possible damage caused by improper or incorrect use.

Getting started

  1. Before you start using the Wash the glass lid and ceramic vessel in warm, soupy water and then rinse and dry.
    Caution! Do not immerse the housing in water or any other fluid

  2. Place the housing on a flat, level dry and stable surface. Place the ceramic vessel inside the housing. Caution! Never turn on the slow cooker while it is empty. This may cause the ceramic vessel to crack.
    Note: the top of the vessel when cooking simmering foods.

  3. Cooking with the Slow Cooker:
    Place ingredients into the ceramic vessel and cover with the glass lid. Plug in the appliance. The control panel will light up, beep, and then show four dashes to indicate that the unit is in standby.
    Caution! Never place frozen meat or poultry in the slow cooker.

  4. Press the Low, Med, High, (A) or Soup button (B) to select the desired cooking function.
    The default time for the selected cooking function will be displayed. Pressing the Cook Time button will increase the time by 30 minute intervals.

  5. Pressing and holding the Cook Time button (A) will scroll through the time at a faster rate. Once the desired time has been selected,
    Press the On/Off button (B) to begin cooking. Press the Cook Time button to increase time during the cooking cycle.

  6. During the cooking cycle, the cooking function cannot be changed.
    To change the cooking function, select the desired cooking function. Once the set cook time has elapsed, to indicate that the cooking cycle is complete.

  7. If no inputs are made after one minute, the slow cooker will automatically enter in the Warm function for 4 hours. After the automatic Warm time has elapsed, the slow cooker will go into standby.

  8. Serving with the Slow Cooker: Press the Warm button (B) of buffet button (A) to select the desired serving function provide a slightly higher temperature than Warm.
    Note: The Warm and Buffet settings are for serving and keeping already cooked and heated foods warm.

  9. The default time for the selected serving function will be displayed. Press the Cook Time button to button to begin the serving function. Caution! Do not place hot items into a cool ceramic vessel as this may cause it to crack.

Cleaning and care

  1. Remove excess food from the ceramic vessel. Ensure that the appliance is in standby mode, turn the
    Allow the ceramic vessel and the glass lid to cool to the same temperature as warm tap water.

  2. Wash the ceramic vessel and glass lid, in the dishwasher or wash them by hand in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry. Dry thoroughly before use. Note: Take care to ensure that the parts will not be chipped or cracked if dishwasher.

  3. For daily cleaning, wipe the outside surface with a clean, damp cloth. Caution: Never immerse the housing, plug, and cord in water or any other
    Do not store food in the ceramic vessel.

NOTE! Cooking times will vary depending on the volume of food, ambient temperature, and types of food being cooked. Always check the food with a food thermometer to ensure that the food is properly cooked.
