Safety Instructions

  1. Please read this guide carefully before operating the machine.
  2. For future reference, please keep this guide in a safe place.
  3. Do not look straight at the projector lens during operation. The intense light beam may damage your eyes.
  4. Please connect the cable that matches the cable port. Do not insert it forcibly.
  5. Do not use it in a place with water or where it gets wet, including showers, kitchen sinks, swimming pools, hot tubs, etc.
  6. Contact a skilled professional for any wall or ceiling installation.
  7. Keep the machine away from heaters, stoves, and other heating devices.
  8. Do not let water, debris, or materials get inside the machine.
  9. Handle with care. Dropping this device can result in damage.
  10. Only connect the cable that matches the terminal. Never jam or force in a cable that doesn’t match.

Setup

  2. Connect the projector to your video source, such as Blu-ray player, TV, game console, or other devices.DARTWOOD Premium Portable Projector - Introduction to Parts 1
  3. To turn on / off, press and hold the power button until the power indicator turns green. Wait 10 seconds for it to warm up.DARTWOOD Premium Portable Projector - Introduction to Parts 5
  4. Adjust the projector angle by the lifting leg and adjust the focus using the focus wheel and keystone adjustment.DARTWOOD Premium Portable Projector - Introduction to Parts 6

Using the Projector

  1. Switch the input source to “DMP” to browse media files and select the video source using the remote or navigation buttons at the top of the projector.DARTWOOD Premium Portable Projector - Introduction to Parts 6
  2. To adjust the input source, press the source button on the remote control. Press “OK” to select your source.DARTWOOD Premium Portable Projector - Introduction to Parts 8

Screen Mirroring Mode

Note: Apple devices require iOS 7 or above, Android devices require Android 4.2 or above.

  1. Select the “Screen Mirroring” from the input source, the following page will show up. Connect the projector to the same Wi-Fi network as the mirroring device.DARTWOOD Premium Portable Projector - Introduction to Parts 8
  2. Once connected, the following screen will be displayed (you can go back to the Wi-Fi settings page by pressing “OK” again). Follow the corresponding steps to continue

Via Airplay (Apple OS device)

  1. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to the same Wi-Fi network as your projector.

  2. Open Control Center:
    a. On iPhone X or later or iPad with iPadOS 13 or later: Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.
    b. On iPhone 8 or earlier or iOS 11 or earlier: Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.

  3. Tap Screen Mirroring

  4. Select “DW720PP-xxxxxxx” from the list. Wait until your screen shows up.

  5. To stop mirroring your iOS or iPadOS device, open Control Center, tap “Screen Mirroring”, then tap “Stop Mirroring”.

Via Smart View (Android)

  1. Swipe down from the top screen to open the “Quick panel”, then, tap on the Smart View icon.
  2. Select “DW720PP-xxxxxxx” from the list of available devices. (If you cannot find the projector from the list, make sure you have connected to the same Wi-Fi network.)
  3. Select “Start now” on the pop-up message that says “Start casting with Smart View?”.
