General Guidelines

Installation
- Choose the appropriate location to insert the RF modulator into the antenna/cable Keep in mind that only the devices physically located behind the RF modulator in the cable network will be able to receive the extra inserted channel.
- Connect an input device to the SCART input [4] or video [6a] & audio inputs right [6b] and left [6c]. Do not switch it on yet.
- Connect the connector coming from the antenna or cable television input to the antenna/cable input [1].
- Connect the TV/VCR/cable output [2] to a TV set or a cable network if present inside the house
- Make sure the included power adaptor is compatible with your Plug the DC power adaptor into the power input [3]. Only use the included adaptor or an adaptor with identical specifications.
- An extra device can be connected to the SCART output [5]. Note that this is only a loop through the connector thus receiving only the signal from the connected input Other TV channels are not available at this output.
- Switch on the RF modulator by switching the power on/off switch [7] to the ON The channel display [10] lights up and shows the current channel on which the input signal will be broadcasted.
- It is important to broadcast the input signal on a free channel to avoid distortion and Change the channel by pressing the channel up [9] or channel down [8] button. Refer to the table on page 3 of this manual for an overview of the available channels and frequencies. Refer to your local cable company for an overview chart to determine which channels are in use. Look for 3 adjacent free channels and choose the middle one. If only 2 adjacent free channels are found, choose the higher one.
- Switch on the input device.
- Connect a TV set to the in-house antenna network and switch to the set channel on the RF modulator (refer to the manual of the TV set).
- When the image appears distorted, choose a different channel on the modulator and switch the TV to that new Chanel.
- When the sound appears distorted, turn down the volume on the input device.

All consumer products are subject to a 24- month warranty on production flaws and defective material as from the original date of purchase.

Velleman® can decide to replace an article with an equivalent article or to refund the retail value totally or partially when the complaint is valid and a free repair or replacement of the article is impossible, or if the expenses are out of proportion.
You will be delivered a replacement article or a refund at the value of 100% of the purchase price in case of a flaw occurred in the first year after the date of purchase and delivery, or a replacement article at 50% of the purchase price or a refund at the value of 50% of the retail value in case of a flaw occurred in the second year after the date of purchase and delivery.
Not covered by warranty: -
- all direct or indirect damage caused after delivery to the article (e.g. by oxidation, shocks, falls, dust, dirt, ..), and by the article, as well as its contents (e.g. data loss), compensation for loss of profits;
- frequently replaced consumable goods, parts, or accessories such as batteries, lamps, rubber parts, and drives. (unlimited list);
- flaws resulting from fire, water damage, lightning, accident, natural disaster, …;
- flaws caused deliberately, negligently, or resulting from improper handling, negligent maintenance, abusive use or use contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions;
- damage caused by a commercial, professional or collective use of the article (the warranty validity will be reduced to six (6) months when the article is used professionally);
- damage resulting from inappropriate packing and shipping of the article;
- all damage caused by modification, repair or alteration performed by a third party without written permission by Velleman®.

Articles to be repaired must be delivered to your Velleman® dealer, solidly packed (preferably in the original packaging), and be completed with the original receipt of purchase and a clear flaw description.
