HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE “SMART LIFE” APP
- To download it, look for “Smart Life” on your phone or scan the QR code on the user manual.
- Your phone should connect to the local 2.4G WIFI network that the lightbulb is connected to.
- Create an account with Smart Life. Lighting devices can be added under the Add Device menu.
- Easy Mode or AP Mode (three times on/off button press)
HOW TO CONNECT TO 2.4 GHZ WIFI
Make sure you are connected to the smart light using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Additionally, Wi-Fi must be detected. Your phone will always immediately connect to the 5 GHz network because many routers have both a 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz network. They are not a simple ‘plug and play’ item. I still haven’t been able to make them work yet with Alexa. I wish I didn’t buy them.
Does this work with lamps?
I have two installed on my living room lamps and work great.
Does it work with Siri?
It will work with Google Assistant or Alexa. You need a home-network; which you could use, and utilize with your iPhone! It will to my knowledge not work with Siri alone!
Can these bulbs be controlled by Alexa echo dot?

Do these have the ability to change between colors automatically, like a party setting or something?

So, they won’t work with 5 ghz routers??
I have both 2.5 and 5 ghz, but I think you have to set them up in the 2.5 ghz in the beginning setup. Once they’re setup, they are very nice and compatible with Alexa.
