Safety Instructions

  • Do not put the steam mop close to the heat source, radiation or burning cigarette butts.
  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children when it is energized or cooling down
  • The appliance shall not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
  • The filling aperture shall not be opened during use. Instructions for the safe refilling of the water reservoir shall be given (for pressurized appliance).
  • The appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
  • Only authorized technicians can disassemble the product. It is strictly forbidden to disassemble the product by yourself.
  • This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision
  • This product is an indoor household product. Do not use it outdoors.
  • Your steam mop is an electric appliance: it must be used in accordance with the normal conditions of use. Never let the steam mop run alone without supervision.
  • Do not touch the power cord or socket when hands are wet.
  • The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
  • Never immerse the steam mop in water and avoid getting close to heating appliances or exposure to the sun, so as to avoid fire.
  • Cut off the power supply: do not pull the power cord. Hold the plastic part of the plug by hand and unplug the plug.
  • Don not let the power cord of the steam mop pass through sharp objects, so as not to damage the power cord.
  • Never drag the power cord to move the steam mop.
  • Check and make sure the power supply must be consistent with that of the steam mop.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Appliances that are obviously damaged must not be operated.
    Represent that there will be steam sprayed. Caution! Hot .
    Represent that there will be danger of scalding.

Functional Operation

Safety instructions and precautions!

  • represent that there will be steam sprayed. Caution! Hot.
  • Do not dismantle the machine unless this is done by professionals, or do not dismantle the machine while it is in use, otherwise it may cause personal injury.
  • Check the power cord and mopping assembly regularly, and do not use them if they are damaged.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by professionals from the manufacturer, its maintenance department or similar departments to avoid danger.
  • Please check and make sure that the water tank is filled with appropriate of purified water before plugging in. The maximum capacity of water tank is 0.42L.Make sure you only add water to the tank. Chemicals or cleaning solution may cause damage to the machine and your family.
  • Please make sure that the plug is disconnected and the temperature of boiler has dropped to room temperature, otherwise it may cause personal injury.
  • Prevent the liquid in the machine or the steam ejected from the machine flowing to the live equipment (including live components), otherwise it will cause damage.
  • When the machine is started or working, do not aim the air outlet at people or animals, otherwise it may cause injury.
  • There are may be a little water in the water tank. This is because we test all our steam mops 100%.

Operating Instructions:

  1. Fill the water tank with appropriate amount of purified water.
    1-1. Place the main body in a flat place, press and hold the release button of water tank with one hand (as indicated by the arrow in Figure 1), and remove the water tank with the other hand, as shown in Figure 1;
    1-2. Remove the sealing plug of inlet of water tank , and fill in appropriate amount of purified water (do not use tap water), as shown in Figure 2; 1-3. Fill in appropriate amount of purified water, and then put the sealing plug back to water tank, as shown in Figure 3;

  2. Use in mop state
    Attention!
    1.Check and make sure that the water tank has been filled with appropriate amount of purified water, and the mopping assembly, mop cloth and handle assembly are all installed in place;
    2.Before connecting the plug to the socket, make sure that the voltage is consistent with the rated voltage marked on the nameplate;
    3.When the machine is started or working, do not aim the air outlet at people or animals, otherwise it may cause injury.
    2-1. Install handle assembly:
    Connect the end with latch on the handle assembly to the end with button on the main body. When you hear a “click”, it is installed in place, as shown in Figure 5. 2-2. Install mopping assembly:
    Note: If the machine is used for hard floor, it needs to install the mopping assembly and mop cloth.
    Install mop cloth: Attach the mop cloth to the bottom of mop, as shown in Figure 6; 2-3. Align the notch of mopping assembly with the button on the front of main body. When you hear a “click”, it is installed in place, as shown in Figure 7. 2-4. Modes and operation in mop state:
    Preheating Mode: Check according to the precautions and make sure everything is OK. Insert the plug into the socket, and the red light on handle will flash, indicating that the machine enters preheating mode;
    Standby Mode: About 15 seconds after entering preheating mode, the red light will turn on, indicating that the machine switches to standby mode; High-flow Mode: When the machine is in standby mode, press the ON/OFF button, and the blue light in the right will turn on, indicating that the machine switches to high-flow mode;
    Low-flow Mode: When the machine is in high-flow mode, press the ON/OFF button, the blue light in the right will go out, and the blue light in the middle will turn on, indicating that the machine switches to low-flow mode;
    When the machine is in low-flow mode, press the ON/OFF button again, all the blue lights will go out, and the machine will return to standby mode. Please see Figure 8 for the position of ON/OFF button.Midea MVC-SC20B Water Tank

  3. Use in handheld state
    3-1. hose mode- Install hose assembly and straight nozzle:
    Align the notch of hose assembly with the button on the front of main body.
    a. When you hear a “click”, it is installed in place.
    Note: If you don’t hear a “click”, please rotate the hose connector until you hear it, as shown in Figure 9. b. Install straight nozzle: Align the snap on the straight nozzle with the sliding notch on connector on steam port of hose and push in. Then rotate the straight nozzle until the snap enters the notch, which indicates it is installed in place, as shown in Figure 10.Midea MVC-

    When you hear a “”click””, it is installed in place.”
    Note: If you don’t hear a “click”, please rotate the hose connector until you hear it, as shown in Figure 11. Attention!
    Only properly in the hose mode or adaptor mode can the machine be used with any accessory.
    3-3. Install accessories (hanging ironing head, brush head, small scraper, scouring head, etc.):
    Align the sliding notch on the accessory with the snap on the straight nozzle and push in. Then rotate the accessory until the snap enters the notch, which indicates it is installed in place, as shown in Figure 12, Figure 13.Midea

    Preheating Mode: Check according to the precautions and make sure everything is OK. Insert the plug into the socket, and the red light on handle will flash, indicating that the machine enters preheating mode;

    High-flow Mode: When the machine is in standby mode, press the ON/OFF button, and the blue light in the right will turn on, indicating that the machine switches to high-flow mode (the steam button must be locked);
    Low-flow Mode: When the machine is in high-flow mode, press the ON/OFF button, the bluelight in the right will go out, and the blue light in the middle will turn on, indicating that the machine switches to low-flow mode; When the machine is in low-flow mode, press the ON/OFF button again, all the blue lights will go out, and the machine will return to standby mode. Please see Figure 11 for the position of ON/OFF button.
    Note : During the machine is used in handheld state, the steam button must be locked, otherwise no steam will be ejected.

Service and Maintenance

Note:

  • To prolong the service life of the product, please be sure to use
  • purified water, and regularly check whether there is purified water in the water tank. For the procedure of refilling purified water, please see the section (Functional Operation 1);
  • Before cleaning or maintaining the machine, be sure to pull the plug out from the socket. Do not immerse the machine in water for
  • cleaning;
    When the machine is not in use, please remove the plug in time to keep the powero.

General Troubleshooting

Problem Cause Solution
