Before charging and using an intelligent battery, please read the Intelligent Battery Safety Instructions carefully and follow the instructions in the manual. Disclaimer: Shenzhen Zero Zero Infinity Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zero Zero”) has no liability for any accidents caused by the use of batteries beyond the conditions in this documentation.

Warning

  1. The lithium polymer in the cell is an active substance, and incorrect use of the battery may cause fire, damage to the item, or personal injury.
  2. The liquid inside the battery is highly corrosive. If there is a leak, do not approach it. If the internal liquid comes into contact with human skin or eyes, rinse immediately with clean water; if there is any adverse reaction, please go to the hospital immediately.
  3. Do not allow the battery to come in contact with any liquid. Do not use the battery in rain or in humid environments. Decomposition reactions may occur after the battery is exposed to water, causing the battery to ignite or explode.
  4. Lithium polymer batteries are sensitive to temperature. Be sure to use and store the battery within the permissible temperature range to ensure safe use and battery performance.

Check Before Charging

  1. Please check the appearance of the battery carefully. If the surface of the battery is damaged, bulging or leaking, do not charge it.
  2. Check the charger, the appearance of the battery and other parts regularly. Never use a damaged charger.
  3. Please only use the authorized charger to charge the battery. The user is solely responsible for any problems caused by the use of non-Zero Zero official chargers.

Cautions During Charging

  1. Do not charge a high-temperature battery immediately after use, as this will cause serious damage to the battery life. Charging a high-temperature battery will trigger a high-temperature protection mechanism, and lead to prolonged charging time.
  2. If the battery power is extremely low, charge it within the allowed temperature range. If the battery power is too low and not charged in time, the battery will be over-discharged, which will cause damage to the battery.
  3. Do not charge the battery in any environment that is close to combustibles or combustible materials.
  4. Please pay attention to the battery status during charging to prevent accidents.
  5. If the battery catches fire, immediately turn off the power and use a sand or dry powder fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire. Do not use water to extinguish the fire.
  6. The charger supports charging batteries in temperatures between 5 °C and 40 °C; At lower temperatures (5 °C ~ 15 °C ), the charging time is longer; at normal temperatures (15 °C ~ 40 °C ), the charging time is shorter, and the battery life can be greatly extended.

Cautions During Use

  1. Please only use the lithium polymer rechargeable battery specified by Zero Zero. The user is solely responsible for any consequences arising from the use of non-Zero Zero official batteries.
  2. Do not disassemble, impact or crush the battery in any way. Failure to do so may result in damage to the battery, bulging, leakage, or even explosion.
  3. If the battery is deformed, bulging, leaking, or has other obvious abnormalities (blackened connector, etc.), stop using it immediately.
  4. It is forbidden to short-circuit the battery.
  5. Do not leave the battery in a high-temperature environment above 60 °C, otherwise, the battery life will be shortened. Do not place the battery near water or fire.
  6. Keep the battery out of the reach of children and pets.
  7. The normal operating temperature range of the battery is 0 °C – 40 °C. Excessive temperatures can cause the battery to catch fire or even explode. Too low temperatures can seriously affect the battery life. When the battery temperature is outside the normal operating range, it cannot provide stable power output and the drone may not fly properly.
  8. Please do not unplug the battery when the drone is not turned off. Otherwise, videos or photos may be lost, and the power socket and the internal parts of the product may be shortened or damaged.
  9. If the battery accidentally gets wet, immediately place it in a safe open area and stay away from it until the battery is dry. The dried batteries cannot be used anymore. Please dispose of the dried batteries properly by following the “Recycling and Disposal” section in this guide.
  10. If the battery catches fire, do not use water to extinguish the fire. Please use a sand or dry powder fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire.
  11. If the battery surface is dirty, wipe it off with a dry cloth, otherwise, it will affect the battery contact, resulting in loss of power or failure to charge.
  12. If the drone accidentally falls, please check the battery immediately to ensure that it is intact. In the event of damage, cracking, malfunction, or other abnormalities, do not continue to use the battery and dispose of it in accordance with the “Recycling and Disposal” section of this guide.

Storage And Transportation

  1. Do not store batteries in any environments with moisture, water, sand, dust, or dirt; do not get it explosive, or heat sources, and avoid direct sunlight.
  2. Battery storage conditions:
    • Short-term storage (three months or less): – 10 °C ~ 30 °C
    • Long-term storage (more than three months ): 25 ±3 °C
    • Humidity: <75% RH
  3. When the battery is stored for more than 7 days, it is recommended to charge it once every two months to keep the cell active.
  4. The battery automatically discharges to below 50% when it is idle for more than 10 days to prevent it from swelling.
  5. The battery will enter shutdown mode if depleted and stored for a long period. Charge to activate it before using.
  6. Remove the battery from the drone when stored for a long time.
  7. If the battery is stored for a long time, please avoid full power storage. It is recommended to store it when it is charged/discharged to about 60 % of the power, which will help to extend battery life. Do not store a completely discharged battery to avoid damaging the cells.
  8. Do not store or transport the battery together with glasses, watches, metal necklaces, or other metal objects.
  9. Battery transport temperature range: 23 ± 5 °C.
  10. Do not transport damaged batteries.
  11. When carrying a battery, please follow the local airport regulations.
  12. In hot weather, the temperature inside the car will rise rapidly. Do not leave the battery in the car. Otherwise, the battery may catch fire or explode, causing personal injury and property damage.

Recycling and Disposal

Do not discard used batteries at will. Discharge the battery and send it to a designated battery recycling bin or recycling station and comply with local laws and regulations regarding the recycling of used batteries.

Battery Use Warning Caution
RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS.
