Valve Mechanism
Valve working condition:
- Water temperature: 2°C – 45°C.
- It is important to ensure the critical level mark on the Fill-valve (“C.L” marking on valve body) should be at least 1” (25.4mm) above the top of the overflow pipe.
Installation stages:
- Please install the valve by following the provided instruction listed below to avoid any functional failure (i.e.: leaking).
- There are three stages of installation – Fill / Inlet valve, Flush valve, and Push-Button installation.
- This fitting instruction is only for this valve installation.
A. Inlet / Fill Valve Installation
- Place fill valve & water-inlet triangle washer insert onto water-inlet hole of the water tank, follow by cover, water-inlet flat washer, plastic washer and hexagonal nut from the bottom of fill valve.
- Tighten the water-inlet hexagonal nut from bottom and make a proper adjust in according to the size of water tank.
For adjust water level:
- Undo the located clip, and rotate the water-inlet body anti-clockwise (“a” in Figure 1-2). Pull upside or downside for the desire position. Put back the water-inlet body follows by install the buckle.
For adjust the retaining tabs (“b” in Figure 1-2):
- Switch the retaining tabs to “right” to adjust the desired location seal cup, follow by the lever adjustment connect to the float. Switch the retaining tabs to “left” for a fixed state.
For adjust the water level:
- Rotate the adjustable rod to the desire height, which the water-stop cup and buoy will reach the suitable water level you need.
B. Inlet / Fill Valve Installation
- Remove the flush-valve body from pedestal as shown in Figure 2-1
- Place the pedestal onto the outlet of the cistern as shown in Figure 2-2.
- Tighten the drainage nut back with all the provided washers as shown in Figure 2-2.
- Install back the flush valve
C. Inlet / Fill Valve Installation
- Unscrew the push button nut as shown in Figure 3-1.
- Place the push button onto the cistern lid middle hole.
- Tighten the push button from underneath until the push button is securely firm
- Check if the “pull flush rod” is line up with the flush-valve key-press as shown in Figure 3-3.
- Confirm if the key-press operates smoothly or is not jammed.
- Tighten the pull flush rod. Check the half-flush engagement.
- Cut off any excessive length of the pull-flush rod that connects to the half flush key-press as shown in Figure 3-4.
- Tighten the pull flush rod on the full-flush key press.
- Check the full flush engagement with the pull flush rod, in order to avoid full flush malfunction. Not to cut too short as shown in Figure 3-5.
- Cut off any excessive length of the pull-flush rod.
