METRON AC01V2L Charging Connector Adaptor User
TYPE 2 TO SCHUKO 16A
AC01V2L adapter is designed to power various electrical devices (ex. to charge electric bicycles, scooters and other electrical appliances) with normal Type F (Schuko) 16A plugs from electric vehicle that has vehicle to loadsystem enabled (KIA EV6, KIA e-Niro (new 2022 model) and Hyundai IONIQ 5). Maximum load is 3.5 kW.
GET STARTED
- Plug adapter AC01V2L to Type 2 car charging socket.
- On the back of the AC01V2L adapter press the switch button to turn-on (A) (see picture above). The adapter is automatically locked after connecting. LED indicator will turn on.
- System is ready to supply power.
- When finished, press the switch button again to turn-off (B) (see picture above). Press the vehicle door “unlock” button to unlock the AC01V2L adapter.
- Remove the connector from the vehicle, then unplug the electric cord from the adapter
If the AC01V2L stops during use, it may be due to an overload or a low battery charge. Check the vehicle condition and charge level to determine why it stopped.

Schuko socket overtemperature protection function description: AC01V2L adapter has a very high quality socket built-in, that won’t overheat at continuous current of 16A. However, if bad or low quality plug is inserted in adapter’s socket, it can radiate a lot of heat. This heat is then detected by adapter’s temperature sensor. If or when it exceeds allowed temperature range, the adapter sends a signal to the car to disconnect power. When it suckiently cools down, the adapter automatically sends a signal to the car to apply power back. This process can repeat endlessly.

The production plant, where we make charging cables and portable charging stations, is the first fully sustainable production facility for EV charging cables. All energy needed, for the heating / cooling of the building, production process, as well as for transportation of goods and employees (except deliveries of heavy materials by trucks), is produced by 2 photovoltaic power plants and stored in 4 storage batteries. LIMITED WARRANTY
METRON warrants its product to the original consumer purchaser that it will
repair, or replace, any product that is determined to be defective for the
following terms: Two (2) years from date of purchase on all components. To be
eligible for repair or replacement under this warranty, the product in
question must be sent back to METRON within the warranty period and the
original consumer purchaser must comply with the following conditions: The
product thereof must not have been modified or altered in any way by an
unauthorized source; The product thereof must have been used in accordance
with the user manual.
This limited warranty does not cover: Damage due to improper use; Accidental
or intentional damage; Misuse, abuse, corrosion, or neglect; Product impaired
by severe natural conditions, such as excessive hail storms, lightning
strikes, tornados, flooding, ice or other natural occurrences; Damage due to
improper packaging on return shipment. Any and all labor charges for
troubleshooting, removal or replacement of the product are not covered by this
warranty and will not be honored by METRON. All shipping costs regarding
repair or replacement of the product is to be pre-paid by the original
consumer purchaser
