Caution!
Follow the illustrated wiring diagram exactly.

Caution!
Output loads must be connected to the same supply voltage of the device.

Legend:

  • O1: Load circuit 1 output terminal (Max 5 A)
  • O2: Load circuit 2 output terminal (Max 5 A)
  • O3: Load circuit 3 output terminal (Max 5 A)
  • O4: Load circuit 4 output terminal (Max 5 A)
  • S1: Switch (controlling O1) input terminal
  • S2: Switch (controlling O2) input terminal
  • S3: Switch (controlling O3) input terminal
  • S4: Switch (controlling O4) input terminal
  • SC: Switch common output terminal
  • L: Live (110-240 V AC) terminal
  • N: Neutral (110-240 V AC) terminals

Caution!
Neutral fusing: disconnect mains supply before servicing.

Caution!

  • The installation of the device must be carefully performed by a qualified electrician.
  • Any changes to the wiring must only be carried out after ensuring that there is no voltage in the electrical system.
  • Install the device in a protected, dry environment and inside the building.
  • Do not connect devices to the module that exceed the maximum load indicated.
  • Install the module only on power grid and appliances that meet applicable standards.
  • A short circuit in the mains supply or any device connected to the module may cause damage to it.
  • Connect the module only as instructed in this manual. Any other method may cause damage and void the warranty.
  • Install a 20 A circuit breaker with impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) of at least 4 kV and compatible voltage rating on the AC side of the device.
  • The device may be connected with heat resistant (not less than 105 °C) solid-core 18-12 AWG cables.

Installation

  1. Disconnect the power from the system.
  2. Attach the device to the DIN rail of an electrical panel or inside a junction box. After the installation, only the central part of the front panel may be accessible to the user.
  3. Remove the covers from the terminals with the help of a screwdriver.
  4. Connect the accessory cables to the top connectors as shown in the diagrams.
  5. Connect the control cables to the lower connectors as shown in the diagrams.
  6. Connect the power supply to the device as shown in the diagrams.
  7. Check that the wiring is correct and restore the power supply to the electrical system.
  8. Reapply the covers over the terminals.
  9. After connecting the device and powering it up, use the Freedompro app and follow the instructions to proceed to the final configuration step.
