Product Usage Instructions

  • Insert the TF card and press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the device.
  • Download the APVision software by scanning the QR code in the manual with your smartphone.
  • Open the APP, click Connect Device, and search for the WIFI hotspot named “Apexel-DC001-xxxxxx” with the default password “12345678”. Double-click the button to toggle WIFI on/off.
  • Connect to a Telescope: Attach the eyepiece clip to the telescope’s eyepiece end for shooting.
  • Connect to a Microscope: Place the EVA ring over the microscope’s eyepiece end, then attach the eyepiece clip for shooting.
  • Once the WIFI connection is successful, access the real-time preview screen on the APP for shooting, recording, viewing, and downloading.

  • A: The blue light steady on indicates the device is powered on, the flashing blue light indicates low battery, the flashing yellow light indicates WIFI waiting to connect, and the steady yellow light indicates WIFI connected.

Eyepiece Usage Instructions

  1. Insert the TF card and press the button for 3 seconds to turn on the device. (Note: The memory card needs to be formatted for the first use, and the APP will remind you with a pop-up window.)

  2. Scan the QR code in the manual with your smartphone to download the APVision software.

  3. After installation, open the APP and click “Connect Device” to go to the device search WIFI hotspot interface. Please find the WIF! named: Apexel-DC001-xxxxxx, default password: 12345678. Note: Double-click the button to turn WIFI on/off.
    Electronic Eyepiece Indicator Light Description
    Blue light steady on – Device is powered on.
    Blue light flashing – The device is low on battery.
    Yellow light flashing – WIFI is waiting to connect.
    Yellow light steady on – WIFI is connected

  4. When the WIFI connection is successful, it will jump to the real-time preview screen of the APP, and operations such as shooting, recording, viewing, and downloading are all completed within the app.

  5. Connecting to a Telescope
    Press both sides of the eyepiece clip without releasing and attach it to the telescope’s eyepiece end to start shooting and using,

  6. Connecting to a Microscope
    First, place the EVA ring over the microscope’s eyepiece end, thenpress both sides of the eyepiece clip without releasing and attach itto the microscope’s eyepiece end to start shooting and using. (Note: Using the EVA ring increases the outer diameter size to make the clipmore secure. Some microscope eyepiece ends with a diameter larger than 025MM do not need to use the EVA ring.)

Other Instructions

Charging

  • Connect the power adapter, with Type-C for power supply.
  • The red light will stay on during charging, and it takes about 2.5-3 hours to fully charge.
  • The green light will stay on when fully charged.
  • The battery life is approximately 150 minutes.

Reset

  • Use a card removal pin to briefly press the reset button.
  • The device will shut down, and all indicator lights will go out.

Data Transfer

  • Insert the USB Type-C end of the data cable into the port, and the other end of the USB plug into the computer’s USB port for data transfer and reading.
  • At this point, briefly press the electronic eyepiece switch button to cycle through the selection modes “Read TF Card ↔ Mount Camera”

Note: If you need to mount your smartphone on the clip for observation, please first place your smartphone into the stretch clip.

  • Then, insert the smartphone along with the stretch clip into the electronic eyepiece end.

  • Press the unlock button and slide up to remove the smartphone and stretch the clip.

  • The electronic eyepiece is a cutting-edge device that seamlessly links your smartphone to a range of optical instruments, from microscopes to telescopes. It enables direct viewing and recording of observations on your phone, simplifying the capture of stunning images and videos. Plus, it facilitates easy sharing of these memorable moments, enhancing the user experience and making observation more engaging and fun.

  • If there is no operation within 3 minutes in the powered-on state, the electronic eyepiece will automatically shut down. Please turn it on again if you need to use it.
