Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.

GENERAL NOTES

The appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.

Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

Always plug the device into an outlet that is earthed. Risk of electric shock!

Do not place the appliance in front of or below the power outlet.

Do not use an extension cable or multi-strips to connect the appliance.

Appliance is not intended to operate with an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

Do not use the device outdoors.

Do not use the appliance in bathroom, swimming pool or in rooms with high humidity level.

Keep a safe distance (at least lm) from flammable objects such as furniture, curtains, paper, etc.

ATTENTION : The protective grills are to prevent direct access to heating parts when the appliance is in use. Do not place objects inside the appliance. Danger of electric shock!

Keep a distance of at least 1m around all sides of the appliance in order to allow sufficient air circulation during appliance operation.

WARNING : This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

Always remove the plug from the socket after usage (pull the plug itself, not the lead).

Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down when you want to move it to another location.

When cleaning or storing the appliance, switch it off and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug, not the cable).

Always switch off and unplug the appliance when inserting/ removing accessories.

Regularly check the appliance and cable for signs of damage. Do not continue to operate the appliance in case of damage.

WARNING: Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord. In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the appliance by yourself. Bring it to the authorized service station for repair. Use only the original spare parts.

This appliance can be used by children aged 16 years and over and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the associated risks.

Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by children without supervision.

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

To protect again electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or unit in water or any other liquid.

Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
IMPORTANT SECURITY WARNING : This is an additional heating device. Never
leave the device unattended for several hours. Do not leave the house without
turning off the heater.
RISK OF BURNS: The air has a temperature higher than 80°C! Please do not
allow children to play unattended near the device.

HOW TO USE
INITIAL USE OF THE HEATER
- Insert the plug into a properly installed 220-240V~, 50/60Hz protected outlet.
- The distance from the air intake grid to the nearest wall must be at least 20 cm. The distance from the air outlet grid to the nearest wall must be at least 1m.
- Set the function switch to position II (2000W) and let the device work for 5 minutes.
- The light turns on when the device is enabled.
- After use, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

NOTE: During initial use and due to insulating materials on the
resistances, odor and / or smoke may be caused. This is not a malfunctioning
of the heater and stops after the initial heating of the resistors.
CAUTION : In case of any damage, please switch the fan heater off
immediately and disconnect the plug from the socket outlet. In the event of
cable’s damage, please visit a qualified technician for repair or replacement.
Switch function
Position 0 : OFF (closed)
Position : Fan mode
Position I : Hot air (1000W)
Position II : Hot air (2000W)
Thermostat
Set the thermostat in the desired temperature level (mix/ max); ideal for
keeping the room at a stable temperature. By regularly switching the fan
heater on and off, the thermostat ensures that the desired temperature is
maintained.
Checking room temperature
- Turn the thermostat control to the highest level.
- As soon as the desired temperature has been reached, turn the thermostat control slowly down until the fan heater turns itself off. The activation light on the switch goes off. The fan heater will now automatically stay at the desired temperature.
Cold air operation
If you would like to use the appliance as a ventilator, please move the function switch to the ventilator symbol and turn the temperature control to the highest position.
Overheating Protection
- The appliance is equipped with an overheating protection that switches the appliance automatically off in case of overheating. Shift the function switch to “O” position and pull out plug out of the socket. Let the appliance cool down for about 10 minutes before using it again.
- Should the overheating protection shut the appliance off again shortly after, there is probably a defect. Switch off the appliance again and pull out the plug. Have the appliance checked by the dealer or by our service.
CLEANING
- Always make sure that the appliance is unplugged before cleaning it.
- Do not pour water on or inside the fan heater.
- Clean the appliance housing and control panel with a soft damp cloth.
- Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the appliance. Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.
STORAGE
- Always unplug the appliance before storing it.
- Always make sure that the appliance is cold, dry and clean before storing.
- Always store the appliance out of the reach of children.
- Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the better protection of the appliance,
store it in its original packaging.
DISPOSAL OF APPLIANCE AND ACCESSORIES
This symbol appearing on the product, its accessories or accompanying manuals
indicates that the product and its electronic accessories should not be
disposed of with other household trash.
In order to avoid possible harmful effects on the environment or health due to
uncontrolled waste disposal, please separate these products from other types
of waste and recycle them.
Household users should contact either the store where they purchased this
product or their local services for details of where and how they can return
these products for environmentally safe recycling.
