Product Usage Instructions
Defrost Instructions
- Place DC:02 onto a drainboard or counter with the bottom section of the device resting in the sink.
- If no counter next to the sink, utilize the back bracket piece to hold the unit in place on a sink edge.
- Close the sink drain and place frozen food into the sink basin. Fill with cold water until water reaches the ‘Minimum Fill Line’ and frozen food is submerged.
- Plug in DC:02 and turn the dial to ‘Defrost’.
- Wait for the needed amount of time to defrost depending on the item (refer to the website for a guide). Once food is fully defrosted, turn the dial to ‘Off’.
- Remove food from the sink or container.
- Clean & Sanitize DC:02 and store away for the next use. (Refer to Cleaning Instructions on page 6)
Deep Cleaning Instructions
- Remove the thumb screws from the lower back panel. Remove lower back panel to expose the pumps and heating element.
- Thoroughly clean the pumps, heating element, and interior section housing with a sponge/brush/towel as needed and detergent/sanitizer.
- Re-assemble the DC:02 by replacing the lower back panel and screwing thumb screws tightly.
- Store safely until next use.

CHILLING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place DC:02 onto a drainboard or counter with bottom section of the device resting in the sink. If there is no counter next to the sink- utilize the back bracket piece to hold unit in place on a sink edge (as shown)
- Close the sink drain and place sealed hot food into sink basin. Fill with cold water and ice until water reaches the ‘Minimum Fill Line’ and sealed hot food is submerged
- Plug in DC:02 and turn dial to ‘Chill’
- Wait for the needed amount of time to chill depending on item (see website for guide). Once food is fully chilled, turn o˜
- Remove food from sink or container
- Clean & Sanitize DC:02 and store away for next use. *see Cleaning Instructions on page 6
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- Use a sponge and/or brush to remove any potential food debris from DC:02
- Plug sink and °ll with warm water and detergent/sanitizer. Fill until water reaches the ‘Minimum Fill Line’
- Plug in DC:02 and turn dial to ‘Chill’
- Run DC:02 for °ve minutes
- Air dry and store safely until next use
DEEP CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
When food contact occurs, use the following step to achieve a deeper clean and/or if food debris enters the inside of the lower portion of the DC:02
- Remove the thumb screws from the lower back panel. Remove lower back panel to take the to expose the pumps and heating element
- Thoroughly clean the pumps, heating element, and interior section housing with a sponge/brush/towel as needed and detergent/sanitizer
- Re-assemble the DC:02 by replacing the lower back panel and screw thumb screws, making sure to screw tightly
- Store safely until next use
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- DO NOT operate appliance if appliance is malfunctioning or appears damaged
- DO NOT use appliance for anything other than its intended use
- DO NOT operate appliance without adequate water °lled to the °ll line
- DO NOT handle plug with wet hands or in a wet environment
- DO NOT remove plug from receptacle by pulling the cord
- DO NOT TOUCH pump or heating element within 15 minutes of use
