Product Usage Instructions
Initial Setup
Upon unboxing, follow one of the options below to prepare your play couch
for use:
- Option 1: Zip up the liners and covers, and start playing to help foam pieces expand.
- Option 2: Leave covers partially unzipped for a few hours before playing to aid quicker foam expansion.
- Option 3: Completely remove covers and liners, leave foam exposed for a day or two, and use a blowdryer if needed.
Cover Maintenance
For cover maintenance:
- Machine wash cold with normal detergent before use if covers are midnight blue, plum, or red.
- For small messes, wipe covers with a wet cloth; for washing, keep zippers closed and open when drying.
Product Safety
Our foam is CertiPUR-US certified and meets safety standards. Avoid
overheating the foam during expansion.

We unboxed! Now what?
Depending on how long your play couch has been in the box, it may take up to two weeks for the foam pieces to decompress and regain their full shape and firmness. You can start using it pretty much right after unboxing it though! In fact, playing and jumping with the play couch will help the foam expand quicker.
- Option 1: Zip up the liners and covers, and start playing with your play couch right away. Jump, climb, roll and play as much as you can to help the pieces expand to their full shape. This method may take a bit longer.
- Option 2: Leave the covers partially unzipped for the first few hours, then start playing with your play couch. This will help the foam expand quicker, since the air will be able to get into the foam more efficiently.
- Option 3: Completely take off the covers and waterproof liners and leave the foam “naked” for a day or two (not stacking pieces but rather laying them out on the ground) somewhere no kids or pets can access. If any pieces are still not fully expanded, we suggest taking a blowdryer and holding it 1-2cm away from the foam on a medium heat setting for a few seconds. Watch the magic happen before your eyes! Careful not to overheat the foam though, since it could permanently damage it.

Luxury microsuede Covers
We suggest washing your covers before use if they are midnight blue, plum or red. This will prevent any dye transfer from occurring. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, separately (use normal detergent and feel free to also add a cup of white vinegar in the wash). Hang or lay to dry. Zippers closed to wash, zippers open to dry. No need to wash the waterproof liners though! Our luxury microsuede covers are very easy to wipe off with a wet cloth if small messes happen. When they do need to be washed, they are much easier to slip back on with the waterproof liners (trust us, cover changes without liners are BRUTAL)!
