OVERVIEW

Indicator Lights

  • Caps Lock Indicator
    • Lights up when Caps Lock is enabled.
  • Battery Indicator
    • Lights up when the battery level is low. Please connect the keyboard to a power source.
  • Charging Indicator
    • The indicator light turns red during the charging process.
    • The indicator light turns green when the keyboard is fully charged.
    • The indicator light blinks when the battery level is low.
  • Bluetooth Indicator
    • The indicator light blinks blue in pairing mode and turns off after a successful connection. To enter pairing mode, press “Fn + C”.

Set up the connection

  1. Start your keyboard by pressing the “ON/OFF” button.
  2. Turn on the Bluetooth connection on your iPad.
  3. Press “Fn” + “C” to put the keyboard into pairing mode.
  4. Select the “DEQSTER Keyboard” from the available Bluetooth devices.
  5. Enter the displayed numerical code via the keyboard and confirm it with the Enter key.
  6. Your keyboard is connected.

Connection problems and solutions

  • Make sure that the keyboard is turned on.
  • Make sure the keyboard is within the maximum Bluetooth range of the iPad.
  • Make sure the battery is charged.
  • Check if the Bluetooth function on your iPad is turned on.
  • Make sure the keyboard is connected to the iPad via Bluetooth.
  • Make sure the keyboard is successfully paired with your iPad.

Standby mode
If the Keyboard is not used for about 10 minutes, it will enter Stand-By Mode. Press any key for 3 seconds to reactivate the Keyboard.

Cleaning
Clean this product only with a lint-free, dry cloth and do not use any aggressive cleaners. Make sure no water gets into the product.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure the Keyboard is turned on.
  • Ensure the Keyboard is within the maximum Bluetooth range to the device.
  • Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged.
  • Ensure that the Bluetooth functions on the iPad and on the Keyboard are activated.
  • Make sure the Keyboard has been successfully paired.

Do not expose the device to sudden temperature changes or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic parts. Check the device for damage before use. The device should not be used if it has been subjected to an impact that has resulted in visible damage or if it has been damaged in any other way. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the instructions. Any repair or modification to the device that is not carried out by the original supplier will invalidate the warranty or guarantee claims. The device specifications may change without prior notice.
