Make sure that the voltage printed on your Arzum Okka Fully Automatic Espresso Machine is suitable for the voltage of your location. Our company cannot be held responsible for malfunctions caused by any voltage differences and therefore, this malfunction will be out of warranty.
This appliance is designed for use in the home and similar applications:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work environments;
- Farmhouses;
- By customers in hotels, motels and other residential-style settings;
- Bed and breakfast style environments.
This appliance must be used by persons who have been given information, supervision or instruction concerning its safe use and who understand the hazards involved. Your product must not be used by persons with physical (visual, auditory) or mental disabilities, children and persons
lacking experience or knowledge without the supervision of a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised when using the product and it should be ensured that children do not play with the product. Keep the appliance and power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.

Do not fill your appliance with more water than the maximum level.
The appliance is for home use. Please do not it use for commercial or industrial purposes. Otherwise, it will be treated out of warranty.

Always plug your appliance into a grounded outlet. To prevent damage to your appliance, please do not use extension cables that do not provide enough current.
Do not place your Arzum Okka Fully Automatic Espresso Machine on or very close to direct heat sources such as stoves and cookers.
Place your appliance on a solid and level surface. Do not place on the edge of a table or countertop. A small impact can cause your appliance to fall down. Please note that your Arzum Okka Fully Automatic Espresso Machine may be filled with hot water.
Make sure the cord does not dangle from your table or kitchen counter or contact any other appliance.
Please avoid actions that may damage the cord and plug of your appliance. Do not carry it by holding the cord, to unplug, hold at its plug; NEVER try to unplug it by pulling it from the cord.
Do not interfere with your appliance except for the purposes of cleaning and maintenance. If the cord or the plug of your appliance is out of order or damaged due to fall or any other reason, do not use the appliance. Do not repair it yourself, please contact Arzum Authorized Service. Take care to use only original spare parts on your appliance.
Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use or when cleaning and make sure it has cooled down thoroughly before cleaning.
Protect your hands from the steam generated when the water boils and do not allow children to use it.
Before starting your Arzum Okka Fully Automatic Espresso Machine, make sure that the water tank and filter cover are ALWAYS closed.
NEVER immerse your appliance in water or any liquid, do not wash it in the dishwasher, do not use it in the bathroom or other places with high humidity.
You can add water and ground coffee when the appliance is switched off.
NEVER put anything other than water in the water tank of your appliance.
Never leave the power transmission base and the electrical terminals of your appliance wet. If it is wet, always unplug it from the socket before drying and do not operate the appliance until it is completely dry.
NEVER place anything other than ground coffee in the filter slot of your appliance.
Take care not to burn yourself with water or steam from the machine or by improper use of the machine.
The heating surface is hot due to residual heat after the appliance has been used, NEVER touch it
If you are not going to use the machine for a long time, please turn off the power and unplug it.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Please make sure that the brewing unit is locked and that the pouring container and drip tray are in the correct position.
Fill the water tank with clean water. For the first use, add no more than 30 g of coffee beans to the bean hopper.
WARNING: Only coffee beans can be put into the bean hopper, please do not add coffee beans mixed with water, coffee powder, stones and other hard objects, otherwise the grinder will be damaged.

Control Panel Introduction
Switching on the Coffee Machine
Plug in the power cord, the power icon will light up and the machine will automatically enter standby mode. Press the power icon and the machine will start self-testing and self-cleaning before use. Hot water/steam will come from the steam wand after cleaning. When all icons are lit, the machine will be ready for use.
Espresso/Double Espresso/Ristretto/Americano/ Hot Water Preparation
Make sure to fill the coffee bean hopper and the water tank. Place the coffee cup on the tray. Slide the coffee spout up/down to the appropriate position according to the cup size.
- To prepare coffee, tap the icon for your preferred beverage.
- Your product will start preparing the coffee of your choice.
- You can stop the coffee brewing process by pressing the selected coffee icon again.
- During operation, you can stop the coffee brewing process at any time by pressing the selected function icon again.
- To prepare a Cold Americano, place the cup with ice in the tray and tap the cold americano icon.
Latte/Cappuccino/Flat White/Latte Macchiato Preparation
- Make sure to fill the coffee bean hopper, the glass milk tank and the water tank.
  Replace the milk tank hose.
- Place the coffee cup on the tray.
- To prepare coffee, tap the icon for your preferred beverage.
- Your product will start preparing the coffee of your choice.
- You can stop the coffee brewing process by pressing the selected coffee icon again. Clean the milk tank and milk tube after the process is finished.
Preparing Coffee with Powdered Coffee ( )
Press the ground coffee icon on the control panel, Espresso and other coffee icons stay bright for a long time, the machine switches to ground coffee mode, add a scale of ground coffee into the hole of the bean hopper, meanwhile select the coffee icon you need, the machine will make coffee automatically. You can stop the process at any time by pressing the selected coffee icon again.
Warning: The brewing unit will automatically return to its original position after cleaning, please do not operate any step until the brewing process is complete.
Cleaning Function ( )
Press the clean icon on the control panel and the machine will start cleaning. Stop the cleaning process by pressing the Clean icon again.

SETTING FUNCTIONS

Coffee Personalization Settings
- Coffee Quantity Adjustment ( ): Press the bean coffee icon on the control panel. The display will show the amount of coffee available. If you want to change the amount of coffee, press + to increase or – to decrease according to your preference. The setting range is 7-12 grams. Press the bean coffee icon to save your settings and return to the main menu.
- Coffee Temperature Setting ( ): Press the temperature icon on the control panel, the display will show the current temperature setting. If you want to change the temperature, you can press + to increase it or – to decrease it according to your wishes. The range is 75-95°C. Press the temperature icon to save the settings and return to the main menu.
- Coffee Volume Setting ( ): Press the water level icon on the control panel, the display will show the current water level.
  If you want to change it, you can press + to increase or – to decrease according to your wishes.
Manual Descaling
When the machine is in standby, please add descaling detergent to the water tank, long press the Clean icon for more than five seconds to start the descaling process: The on/off icon will flash on the display, the machine will pump 30 ml of water from the steam wand and 30 ml from the brewer, stop for 2 minutes and complete 9 rounds, all indicator lights will flash. After putting fresh water into the water tank, please press the espresso icon, then the machine will pump 200ml fresh water from the steam wand, 200ml fresh water from the brew tank and complete the descaling automatically;
Notes: Pressing the on/off icon will stop the descaling process.
Automatic Descaling –
The coffee machine will also automatically remind users to descale, press Clean icon and hot water icon for longer than five seconds, automatically go to descaling volume settings, factory default setting is 20L, press “+ or-” to set, range: OFF, 20L, 50L, 100L, 200L. Press the power button to return to the main menu. When the volume reaches the settings, the eight function lights will flash, press any function icon to start the descaling process, this process is the same as manual descaling in 4.2.
Factory Reset When the coffee machine is switched on, press and hold the ground coffee icon and the Clean clear icon for 5 seconds, the indicator lights will flash for 2 seconds and return to the main menu, the factory reset will be completed and the machine will be ready for use.
Switching off the Product
Please press the power icon, the machine will switch off and enter standby mode after self-cleaning.
Resetting the Brewing Group Position
When the brew group is blocked in the center position and you cannot remove it from the coffee machine and the warning icons show that the brew group is missing, please press and hold this icon for 3 seconds, then the brew group will automatically return to its original position.
Warning: Please do not operate the machine while the brew group is returning to its original position.
Coffee Powder Fineness Adjustment Knob
- With this setting you can set the grind size of your coffee beans.
- If set counterclockwise, the powder size will be fine and the coffee will taste more intense;
- If set clockwise, the powder size will be coarse and the coffee taste will be mild
  Note: Once the powder fineness has been set, the set coffee effect will be present from the third cup of coffee onwards.
Beep Sound On/Off Setting ( – )
With this setting, you can adjust the beep sound to on or off. Press and hold the Espresso and Double Espresso icons, then touch the “+” and “-” icons to set the beep sound on or off.
Automatic Switch Off Setting
With the machine switched on, long press the hot water icon and the hot milk icon together and go to the automatic switch-off setting menu. Factory default setting is 0.5H, adjustable range: Switch off, 0.5H, 4H, 8H, press the “+ or-” keys to adjust, press the power icon to confirm and return to the main menu.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Brewing Unit Maintenance
How to remove the brewing unit
Open the side door and remove the waste coffee pulp container and the waste coffee powder container,
Hold the handle of the brewing unit, press down the ear of the funnel with your thumb and then it can be pulled out, Method of insertion into the brewing unit:
Starting the brewing unit takes place in reverse order. When a “tick” sounds, this means that the brewing unit has been successfully
inserted. Then insert the waste container and close the rotating lid.
Daily Maintenance
Water Tank:
Clean daily, fill with clean water before brewing coffee, keep the water temperature below 35° and use distilled water.
Milk Tank:
For hygienic reasons, the glass milk tank and glass milk tank tube must be cleaned after each use. By separating the milk tank from the milk tank tube, you can wash the both of them in the dishwasher. Optionally, you can keep the glass milk tank you have separated from the milk tank tube connected to the machine in the fridge.
Brewing Unit:
Clean the brewing unit once a week by washing it with water only. It is normal to see condensation on this surface after intensive use. You can continue using it after cleaning is completed.
Coffee Machine Cleaning:
If you will not use the machine for a long time, please clean the draining container, drip tray and every part of the machine to keep it clean.
