INCREDIBLE NEWS, GREAT NEWS AND A LITTLE HOUSEKEEPING

Something to ponder ….

The man who invented autocor rect should be burnt in hello….

HEY ALL…
WE HAVE INCREDIBLE NEWS!!!

As of NOW, we are offically manufacturing, in-house, the new

LOUVOLITE ALLUSION BLINDS

The Allusion fabric ranges are now available to all – the range includes Natural and Horizon (Sheers) & Shadow (Blockout) fabrics. And the swatches are heading our way – $30 + GST EA.

AND BTW you and us, you will love our pricing!!

As we can now produce these ourselvers, pricing is very competitive with the Verishade blinds.
Maybe a little too competitive…. but what the heck, it works in your favour…

  • BUT (a big but, I do not lie) do not forget about the Verishade blinds…

  • Just like the Allusion blinds, these are child friendly, stylish with easy care fabrics.

  • Hmmm…. there was something else we had to tell you…. think…. think….

  • Ah.. yes.. we have sourced better pricing for Verishade blinds  and as such, we have passed these savings onto you.

  • C’mon, give us a call and we will tell you all about it!

And some more news.
..

So grab yourself a coffee/tea, recline your seat, put your feet on the desk…it’s going to be bit of a read.

Shaw Australia have news to refresh our memories, to share with our peoples.
RE-introducing the   fabric  range…
A Colour BACKED polyester blockout fabric that has been squeezed into the Group 1 price bracket…..
And now, because we are that sort of business, some educational information for you…

The refreshed DUO BLOCK

3m widths and updated colours. What more can we say?
Well, maybe one more thing…. “To err is human. To arr is pirate.”

Linesque Drapery news

Like a still life art class model on a cold winter’s day, the Linesque curtain range has sadly shrivelled from being the top dog to a frankfurter on the Shaw curtain ladder and will slip from our grip…
But do not dispair, the Linesque AIR has taken up the challenge head-on throwing open the dressing gown and flashing it’s sheer bits to the window furnishing world. It turns out that, just like a flurry of hands fighting to grab the last salami on a charcuterie board, this fabric has come out as the favorite curtain range and is still climbing higher up the ladder.

NOW SOME NON-WORK-RELATED STUFF TO FILL OUT THIS PAGE

“As long as cocoa beans grow on trees, chocolate is fruit to me.”

The new 1.1Nm BASICS Wand Motor is the middle child of the Automate roller blind motor family. Just quietly getting the job done with little to no fanfare… (yes, I am a middle child) It’s the perfect segue into the world of motorisation from the manual operating systems.

The wanderfull news is you don’t need Harry as a backup to help you operate the blinds, ONE wand will operate as many blinds as you want with just one flick of the Golden Snitch. AND you won’t need a team of muggles to charge the motors. Only ONE magic magnetic wand is needed to charge as many Basic motors as you like… And because I have run out of ideas for word plays, the Automate Basic Motor & Wand brochure is below…….

“Discover the ease and simplicity of the Automate Basics Wand Motor, which features essential up, down, and stop functions for effortless shade adjustment. This cordless, child-safe system provides a seamless upgrade from manual chain operation to convenient automation, offering an accessible and affordable motorised shade solution.Controlled using a removable Magnetic Wand, which also conveniently doubles as a charging point via a USB-C port.

Featuring the patented Zero motor head, typically found in the premium Automate collection, the Basics Wand Motor boasts a slim head design, ensuring minimal light-gap and easy retrofitting without the need for shade replacement. Also offering advanced features like speed adjustment, battery check, and favourite positioning.”

And now for the less amusing news….

We need have a little chat in a quiet spot….

Recently, there have been several occasions where a client who are, with authorisation from us, picking up spare parts from our suppliers, on ‘behalf’ of CBC. With what is about to be written, please don’t take this the wrong way, we will not put a stop to this as we are here to help you to not miss a beat.

But our product pricelists have been constructed using our discounts that have been negotiated with our suppliers so we can offer better pricing to our customers. This involves CBC buying bulk quantities to obtain these prices to keep the costs down, which in turn, is passed through to you.

We can provide the parts you need when required from our stock from our warehouse (which has been calculated with discounts built in). However, when clients collect componentry personally, using our account, we are then charged at a premium price as they are classed as individual items. Essentially, this means that in some cases, this is at a higher cost than the calculated CBC component price that we invoice out to you., we cannot maintain these extra costs without it possibly bringing closer the date of the next price increase on all our products.

  • So (with a heavy heart), from 1st August 2024, there will be a 25% surcharge added to each component that a client may pick up direct from our supplier using our account. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this pricing amendment, but if not kept in check, this will need to be reflected in the next CBC pricelist update.
  • In other sad news, Louvolite have had a price increase from the 1st of July and after playing with the costings, we have found that we cannot cover this increase. The Perfect Fit blinds and the Cellular blind were priced at a low markup to make these attractive to the market. But unfortunately, the increase means that as of 1st September 2024, there will be a price rise of 4% on all Perfect Fit and Cellular blinds, along with the Louvolite Easy Fit fabric covered base rail.
  • And in the latest news from the Turnils Collage peoples, we have been advised that the popular Zen range has been discontinued as of now. However, a new PLAZA fabric (not to be confused with the current PLAZA PLUS) has been called in to replace Zen and will remain in the same price group (Super Spesh).
  • “How does the man in the moon cut his hair? E-clipse it”
This terrible joke is exactly why Texstyle have placed the Eclipse fabric in a Bully Protection Program. It has been given a new alias and a new identity. Out on the streets it is now to be known as
‘KLEENSCREEN BLOCKOUT’. Same colours, same names but different passport.
