Filter Cleaning
Filters should be removed and cleaned every 1–3 months for best performance.
To remove the filter, pull out the lower rack, grasp the Filter Cup, and
rotate it 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Pull up to remove. Remove the Filter
Plate. Rinse both under cold water in the sink. A soft brush can be
used to remove stuck-on food. Replace the filter plate.
Ensure the filter plate is correctly seated under tabs. To install the filter cup, push it down through the opening. Turn clockwise to the seat. The filter cup will click into place when seated properly. Do not operate the dishwasher with loose or missing filters. 2024 KitchenAid. All rights reserved.
