Temperature Considerations

However, during extreme weather conditions, it is recommended to use a windshield sunshade or park in a shaded area to minimize direct sunlight exposure, which can help maintain the device’s longevity and optimal performance.

SETUP/INSTALLATION

Unboxing and Package Contents
When you open the box, you should find the following items:

  5. Alcohol Wipes for Cleaning the Surface
  6. Memory Card (already installed in the device)

STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION GUIDE

Prepare the Dashboard / Window

  1. Use the provided alcohol wipes to clean the area of the dashboard or window where you plan to mount the device. This ensures a clean surface for better adhesion.
  2. Wait a few seconds for the alcohol to dry.

Mount the Dashboard Pad

  1. Peel off the protective film from the bottom of the dashboard pad mounting disk.
  2. Press the pad firmly onto the cleaned area of the dashboard. Hold for a few seconds to ensure it adheres well. If using on glass, the pad is not necessary.

Attach the Device

  1. Positioning the device in your preferred location before securing it to the dashboard or window is very important. Before removing the protective film from the adhesive part, activate the app and check the preview of the shot. Ensure that the selected angle is comfortable for use and captures the road as desired.
  2. Place the NIRRGO NRC6 device onto the mounted dashboard pad (for dashboard only, for windshield this is not necessary)
  3. Pull down the latch to ensure it is securely attached and fixed in place.

Connect the Power Supply

  1. Plug the USB to Type-C charging cable into the device.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to your car’s USB port or a suitable car charger.
  3. Once connected, and after a few seconds, the device should start flashing a blue light, indicating it is recording video. The memory card is already installed in the device.
  4. The app is only needed for downloading the recorded videos and adjusting the camera angle in real-time.

Install the Metal Plates

  1. Attach the provided metal plates to the back of your phone or inside your phone case. This will allow your phone to magnetically attach to the device. Do not rely on any built-in magnetic part of the phone; use only the provided metal plates.

OPERATION

Please note: When the device is plugged into the car power socket, after a few seconds it will blink with a blue light, indicating that recording is active.

HOW TO OPERATE THE DASH CAMERA

Recording

  1. When the device is plugged into the car power socket, it will blink with a blue light,indicating that recording is active.

Playback

  1. To play back or download videos, you need to download the NIRRGO APP from the Play Store or Apple Store. The app logo is as follows:
  2. After downloading and installing the app, while the device is plugged in and the blue light is flashing, turn on the Wi-Fi on your phone and connect to the device. The device name will be “NIRRGO” followed by the device model name. For example: NIRRGO-CDDB The password is 12345678
  3. Please note: When the Wi-Fi connection is established, your phone will not have internet access. Therefore, only use the app when needed to download files.
  4. After connecting your phone to the device, open the app and click on the “Connect” button.
  5. Once connected, you will see the video screen and a red button indicating that the device is recording.
  6. Under the view screen, you will find a few icons: one for starting and stopping video recording, another for capturing images, and a flip button to use when the product is upside down, such as when you install it on a windshield instead of the dashboard.
  7. At the bottom, you will see the “Recorder storage” icon, which contains all the recorded files.
  8. For advanced settings and options, please click on the “Recorder Settings” icon.

Cleaning Instructions

  1. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device
  2. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Common Issues and Solutions

  1. No Power: Ensure the device is connected to the car’s power outlet and the car is running.
  2. Poor Video Quality: Clean the camera lens and check the settings for resolution.
  3. App Connectivity Issues: Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your phone and that the device is properly connected. You may see a “no internet connection” alert; this is normal and does not affect the connection between your phone and the device.
  4. Camera angle is upside down: Press the flip icon.
  5. Device not recording:
  6. Ensure the memory card is properly inserted into the device.
  7. Check the recordings folder in the app to verify that new files are being created.
  8. When the device is recording, a blue light should be blinking on the device.
  9. The app’s video preview screen should display a blinking red dot to indicate active recording.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTING TO THE DEVICE

Power on the device

1. Ensure the device is powered on (the blue light should be blinking), it turns on automatically when connected to the car’s power source with the cable.

Enable Wi-Fi on Your Smartphone

  1. Turn on Wi-Fi on your smartphone.

Connect to the Device

  1. Find and connect to the device (the network name will be “NIRRGO” followed by the device model, for example Nirrgo- CDDB).
  2. Ensure the device is paired. Note: You may see a “No internet connection” message; this is normal.
  3. Password: 12345678

Connect via the App

  1. Open the app and click the “Connect DVR” button.
  2. If successful, you will see the video preview screen showing the live video.

Recording

  1. The device should be recording if the blue
  2. light is blinking (recording starts automatically even without using the app).
  3. If the device is not recording (no blinking), please make sure the power cable is well connected. If the problem persists, ensure the SD card is properly inserted (located at the top of the device under the rubber cap).
