Product Usage Instructions

Prepare your Modem:

  1. Unplug the power of cable/DSL modem. Remove the battery if present.
  2. Connect your modem to the WAN port at the back side of the router using the provided network cable.
  3. Power on the modem by plugging it into a power outlet and turning it on.
  4. Check the modem LED lights to ensure the connection is active.

Install your Router:

  1. Plug the adapter into the DCIN port and press the Power switch.
  2. The power LED will light up when the hardware is ready.
  3. If using DSL, ensure you have your username/password from your ISP for configuration.

Connect to Router:

For wired connection: Connect your PC to LAN port at the back side of the router using a network cable. For wireless connection: Connect to the default SSID network shown on the product label or scan the QR code to connect.

Router Setup:

  1. On your mobile device, download the ASUS Router app from the app store.
  2. Connect to the default network SSID on the router label.
  3. Launch ASUS Router App and follow the instructions to complete the setup.

Gain Another 10GE LAN Port:

  1. Set up 2.5GE WAN connection to release another 10GE LAN Port.
  2. Connect the modem to the 2.5GE WAN port with a network cable.
  3. Select Manual Setting in ASUS Setup Wizard and follow instructions for setup.

Start Using:

  1. After setup, the router will reboot and connect to the Internet using 2.5GE port.

SPECIFICATION

One Router Setup Steps

  1. Prepare your Modem
  2. Unplug the power of cable / DSL modem. If it has a battery backup, remove the battery.
  3. Connect your modem to WAN port at the back side of the router with the network cable provided.
  4. Power on the modem. Plug modem to the power outlet and power on.
  5. Check the modem LED lights to ensure the connection is active.
  * If you are using DSL for internet, passionate myour internet service provider (ISP) to properly configure your router.
  1. Install your Router

  2. Plug the adapter into the DCIN port, and press the Power switch.

  3. The power LED will light up when the hardware is ready.
    Via app

  4. [App] On your iOS or Android mobile device, go to the app store, search for ASUS Router, and download the app.

  5. [App] On your iOS or Android mobile device, tap Settings > Wi-Fi, connect to the default network SSID shown on the product label on the back side of the router. Or scan the QR code on the product label to connect the default network SSID.

  6. [App] Launch ASUS Router App and follow the instructions to complete the setup.
    Or via a web browser

  * 3 [Wired] Connect your PC to the LAN port at the back side of the router using an additional network cable.  

[Wireless] Connect to the network with default SSID shown on the product label on the back side of your router “ASUS_XX”.

  * [Wired / Wireless] Open a web browser.  

You will be redirected to the ASUS Setup Wizard. If not, navigate to http://www.asusrouter.com.
Follow the instructions to complete the setup.

Gain Another 10GE LAN Port

  1. Set up 2.5GE WAN connection to release another 10GE LAN Port

    • Under factory defaults
      Connect to the 2.5GE WAN port
      Connect the modem to the 2.5GE WAN port with a network cable.
      Login and Connect
    1. [ASUS Setup Wizard] Select “Manual Setting”.
    2. [ASUS Setup Wizard] Select “2.5G WAN”, then follow the instructions to complete the setup of SSID and login information.
  2. Start to Use

  3. After following the setup steps, the router will reboot for a second and start to connect the Internet with 2.5GE port.
