WARNINGS
- Read this manual carefully before any operation.
- Please keep this manual for future use.
WARNING!!
- Electrical connections must be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician.
- Before carrying out any installation or maintenance operation, the Liquid Level Alarm must be disconnected from the power supply.
- Do not open the cover while running the Liquid Level Alarm.
- Do not splash water or other liquid over the Liquid Level Alarm.
- Do not allow children or infirm persons to operate the Liquid Level Alarm.
- If the supply cord is damaged, the Liquid Level Alarm should be returned to the supplier for repair.
- A powerpoint (10 amps) should be provided by a qualified electrician. The Liquid Level Alarm is to be supplied by an isolating transformer or supplied through an RCD having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
CAUTION!!
- Installation must be carried out by competent, skilled, qualified personnel.
- Never connect AC power to the output terminals.
- Do not install the Liquid Level Control in the following conditions:
- Vibration and mechanical shock.
- Corrosive gasses and liquids.
- Extreme heat and cold, operating range -25oC – +55oC.
- Salt mist corrosion.
- Rain and moisture.
- Flammable materials, solvents.
Introduction
Thank you for choosing a Trevoli Level Alarm. The Level Alarm is an easy to use, programmable stand alone liquid level alarm which provides audible and visual warnings when the tank is either full or empty. It is easy to choose between high level warning or low level warning, and the type of alarm warning. The Level Alarm is also provided with an alarm mute to silence the alarm if required.
Applications
The Level Alarm is useful in all cases where there is the need to provide
warning against high or low liquid levels in tanks.
Typical usage scenarios include
- Stormwater
- Sewage
- Grey Water
- Rainwater
- Effluent
Technical parameters and features
- 240V 1 phase power supply.
- Safe 12V low voltage for float switch.
- MODE button to switch easily between high level and low level warning. Press mode for 5 seconds.
- PULSE button to switch easily between continuous and intermittent audible warning. In intermittent mode, the audible alarm will sound initially, then every 5 minutes.
- MUTE button to silence the alarm. Visual alarm remains on until alarm situation rectified.
- 10 m float switch complete with counter weight supplied and wired.
- Level Alarm can be mounted up to 50m from the tank using low voltage cabling (optional supply).
Installing float switch
Operation
Plug Level Alarm into a power point and turn the power on.
- Push the MODE key for 5 seconds to select HIGH LEVEL or LOW LEVEL alarm mode.
- Push the PULSE key to select between continuous and intermittent audible alarms.
- MODE key: push for 5 seconds to switch between the HIGH-LEVEL alarm and the LOW-LEVEL alarm.
- MUTE key : push to silence the alarm.
- PULSE key : push to switch between continuous and intermittent audible alarms.
Note: To test for correct operation with the float switch, please hold the MODE button for 20 seconds to alternate operational mode, once released the alarm will sound, when the test is completed please repeat the procedure to set your required operational mode.

- Vortex Distributors warrants that the TREVOLI products that we distribute are free from defects in workmanship and materials, for 2 YEARS from the date of purchase. Subject to the conditions of the warranty Vortex Distributors will repair any defective products free of charge at the premises of our authorized service agents throughout New Zealand.
- This warranty is back to base & excludes transportation costs to and from Vortex Distributors or its appointed service agents and excludes defects due to non-compliance with installation instructions, neglect or misuse, inadequate protection against freezing, low voltage, or use or operation for purposes other than those for which they were designed. For further information regarding the suitability of your intended application contact us.
- The 2-YEAR warranty refers only to TREVOLI products sold after the 1st of July 2006 is not transferable to another TREVOLI product and only applies to the original owner, purchaser, or end user, and is subject to the Consumers Guarantee Act.
- Our warranty commences from the date of purchase of the above-mentioned product. Proof of purchase is required before consideration under warranty is given. Record your date of purchase in the space below and retain this copy for your records.
