EPC500 Hausted Stretchers and Chairs
Instructions
Home Position Press and hold Chair automatically raises back section, lowers leg section, tilts seat section to 6º simultaneously, and adjusts chair height to lowest position (20″).
To Pre-Set Position 1, 2, or 3 for OR, Pre-Op or Surgeon Specific
Step 1:
Have chair in the desired position
Step 2:
Press and hold M button, green light will begin to flash. Holding the M button
down, press 1, 2, or 3 and hold both down until the audible beeping stops and
the green light on the M button goes out. Memory is now set for the selected
number. A solid green light confirms your position has been set. This light
will go out once both buttons are released.
Caster Brake
- Press ONCE to lock all casters (audible beep and LED on)
- Press again to unlock all casters (audible beep and LED off)
- To prevent unintended movement, brakes lock automatically after chair is stationary for 30 consecutive seconds. Before brakes engage, a Brake alarm will sound (5 quick beeps) 5 seconds before.
Caster Steer Mode
- Press ONCE to STEER chair (audible beep and LED on)
- Press again to return to neutral (audible beep and LED off)
LOW Battery Indicator
Illuminates steady green when battery is 20% or less. Chair will also emit
beeping sound when raising or lowering.
