Product Usage Instructions

Warning and Safety Precautions:

Tools Required :

  • Philips Head or Flat Blade Screwdriver

Assembly & Installation Instructions:

  1. Remove the fixture from the carton and ensure all parts are included
  2. Turn off power before starting installation
  3. Attach mounting plate to the outlet box and mark hole positions on the wall
  4. Drill holes for anchors and secure mounting plate to the wall
  5. Connect wires according to the provided charts, ensuring proper grounding

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • Q: Can I use a higher wattage bulb with this product?
    A: No, the maximum wattage recommended for this product is LED, 32W. Using a higher wattage bulb may damage the fixture.

  • Q: Do I need to hire a professional for installation?
    A: While it is recommended to have a licensed electrician install the product, you can follow the provided instructions carefully if you have knowledge of electrical work.

  1. We suggest installation by a licensed electrician.
  2.  Please read the instruction carefully and save it as you may need it at a later time.
  3. Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
    • Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
    • Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
    • Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.
  4.  Mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough and 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16” should be corrected as required.
  5. Make sure that the ceiling or wall can stand the weight of the lamp before installation.
  6. Make sure the voltage you are using is 120V. The maximum wattage is LED, 32W.
  7. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances in case of damaging the surface of the lamp.
  8. When replacing bulbs, you should turn off or unplug the lamp and you must wait until it is cool as bulbs get hot quickly.
  9. The safety instructions appearing in this manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions that may occur. It must be understood that common sense, caution and care must be used with any electrical products.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the above illustration.

  2. Turn off power
    Before you start the installation, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

    •  Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
    • Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
    • Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.
  3. Unscrew canopy nuts (G) from canopy (E) then gently remove mounting plate (A).

  4. To adjust the hanging height of the fixture:

    • Press down and hold lock nuts (F) by hand.
    • Pull or push steel wires (I) and cable (H) in and out of canopy (E) to increase or decrease the hanging height.
    • Please adjust steel wires (I) first.
  5. Carefully pass the supply wires from the outlet box through mounting plate (A).
    NOTE: To drill the holes in the wall for anchors (M), attach mounting plate (A) to wall with screws ( D & N )

  6. Attach mounting plate (A) to outlet box and then mark the position of holes in the wall with a pen as shown in the illustration.

  7. Drill holes and gently knock anchors (M) into the marked holes until anchors (M) are level with the wall.

  8. Secure mounting plate (A) to the wall with screwing anchor screws (N) into anchors (M) and mounting screws (D) into holes of mounting plate (A).

  9. Make wire connections
    Connect wires as shown in the charts below. PLEASE NOTE THAT GROUND WIRE IS BARE COPPER WIRE, NEVER CONNECT OTHER WIRES TO GROUND WIRES.

Note: When parallel wires (SPT I& SPT ll) are used. The neutral wire is square shaped or ridged and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth (see illus.)

  • Twist wires together with plastic wire connector (C) until tightly joined.
  • Wrap each connector with approved electrical tape for a more secure connection.
  • Carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.

Fix canopy (E) to mounting plate (A) and secure with the previously removed canopy nuts (G).

Note : canopy (E) should be snug against the ceiling and canopy nuts (G).
If not, adjust the threaded length of the pre-assembled mounting screws on mounting plate (A):

  • first, unscrew the pre-assembled hex nuts;
  • then, screw the pre-assembled mounting screws in or out of mounting plate (A);
  • when the secure length is achieved, tighten the pre-assembled hex nuts and back to step 7.

Screw metal uppers (J) and tapered acrylics (L) to ring (K) as shown in the illustration.

Check that everything is installed properly, then you can turn on the light. We hope you enjoy your new lighting!

CLEANING
