Product Information

The Euromenage appliance is designed for grilling foods such as sausages and fish. It should not be used with charcoal or similar combustible materials. The appliance comes with a two-year warranty, and accessories and spare parts are available only during the warranty period. It is important to keep the original packaging for warranty purposes.

Product Usage Instructions

Setting Up the Appliance:

  1. Place the complete stand on a solid surface.
  2. Now place the grill rack on the stand.

Baking Instructions:
The appliance can be used for baking sausage and fish. Do not use inflammable materials such as charcoal or wood for baking.

Cleaning Instructions:

  1. Unplug the appliance from the socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
  2. Remove the grid plate and heating element for manual washing. Do not use abrasive cleaners to avoid scratches.
  3. Do not immerse the plug, power cord, or heating elements in any liquid. Wipe them with a dry fabric only.

Safety Instructions:

  • Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is powered on.
  • Avoid placing the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.

Important Safeguards

Danger of electric shock

  1. Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance rating plate.
  2. Keep children away from the appliance.
  3. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is powered on.
  4. Only use the appliance in the way indicated in these instructions.
  5. Unplug the appliance after use, or in the event of a fault.
  6. From time to time check the power cord for damage. Do not use the appliance if either the mains lead or the appliance itself shows signs of damage.
  7. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  8. Never place the appliance into the dishwasher.
  9. Repairs to the appliance, such as If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  11. Do not move the appliance by pulling the power cord. Make sure the power cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
  12. Make sure the appliance is unplugged when disassembling it before cleaning.
    CAUTION – Please do not touch surface while in use. The accessible surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

  2. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

  3. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
    WARNING: Charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not be used with this appliance.

  4. The instructions shall state that appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system
    WARNING: In order to avoid overheating,this appliance shall not be coverd by any solid or flexible material such as an aluminum tray,aluminum foil or trays made of other heat resistant material.The use of such items or materials on the grille would impair the safety of your product and could lead to serious damage.

Working environment

  1. The appliance should be stood on a level, stable and clean surface while it is in use.
  2. Keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
  3. The appliance must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
  4. The appliance is to be connected to a socket outlet having an earthing contact.

Extra Safety Instructions

  1. Remember to place the thermostatic cabinet into the base. The appliance can’t be used without the thermostatic cabinet correctly fitted.
  2. The thermostatic cabinet is equipped with safety switch. The spiral filament will automatically turn off the heating elements when thermostatic cabinet is removed.
  3. Do not touch the surface for the filament has extremely high temperature shortly after using.
  4. The appliance is suitable for outdoor use.
  5. This appliance is also intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
    • Farm houses;
    • By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
    • Bed and breakfast type environments.
  6. The supply cord should be regularly examined for signs of damage, and if the cord is damaged, the appliance must not be used.
  7. The maximum quantity of water to be poured into the appliance.
  8. For detailed information on how to clean surfaces in contact with food, see the below paragraph “Cleaning”.

Installing the Barbecue Grill

First assemble the legs and place the rack on the legs.

  1. Stick all the up legs(4) and Down legs(6) through four holes of lower floor (5) one by one, the salient point on the down leg should be matched with the groove.

  2. Place the complete stand on a solid surface.

  3. Now place the grill rack(3) on the stand. Make sure that each leg fits into one of the four holes situated in the bottom of the grill rack(3). Press the grill rack firmly so that the legs are fixed in the holes.

  4. Assure correct power supply (230V). The socket shall be designed for 2000W.

  5. Fill water into before power is switched on. The water shall not be higher than the maximum level marked on the unit. Cover the tray with water for easy cleaning in the future. If water evaporates fast during baking, please add water for avoiding overheating. Do not directly spray water onto the heating element, for it may possibly damage the appliance.
    Cautions: Do not use the barbecue grill when there is no water in the tray.

  6. Power on and adjust it to the expected temperature by the knob of thermostat. The user can adjust it by turning to “MAX 5 4 3 2 1” clockwise.

  7. The power consuming level depends on the user’s selection. It is suggested to adjust it to highest in case of long baking.

  8. Please unplug the appliance from the socket after stopping baking.

Baking

  • The appliance can be used for baking sausage and fish and so on. It is not allowed to bake with such inflammable materials as charcoal and wood.
  • Directly place the foods on the grill rack. Remember not to cover the grill rack with plastic or metal film.

Cleaning

  • Unplug the appliance from the socket, cool the appliance before Cleaning.
  • Remove the grid plate from the rack. Then remove the heating element from rack, manually wash the appliance (do not clean with cleaner). Do not clean the appliance with abrasive cleaner for avoiding scratches.
  • Do not immerse the plug, power cord, heating elements in any liquid. They can only be wiped with dry fabric

REMOVAL OF APPLIANCES USED

  • Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic Equipment (WEEE) requires that the appliance uses are not disposed of using the normal municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
  • The symbol of the dustbin is used on all products to remind the obligations for separate collection. Consumers should contact their local authorities or dealer regarding the steps to follow for the removal of their old appliance. If you proceed with the scrapping of old equipment, be sure to render useless what could be dangerous: disconnect the power cable flush with the device.

Danger:

  • Never attempt to use your appliance, if it shows signs of damage or the power cord or plug is damaged. If the power cord is defective it is important to have it replaced with the after sales service to eliminate any danger.
  • Only qualified and authorized persons are authorized to carry out repairs to your appliance. Any repairs not in accordance with standards could significantly increase the level of risk for the user!
  • Defect resulting from improper handling, degradation or attempted repairs by third parties voids the warranty on the product. This also applies in case of normal wear and accessories from the appliance.
    Important!
    We recommend that you keep the packaging of your device at least for the duration of the warranty. The guarantee does not apply without the original packaging.

Warranty

Your device has two years warranty. Accessories and spare parts are only available during the 2 years of the product warranty .The warranty does not cover wear and breakage following a wrong use of the product. The customer is responsible for all returns. You remain responsible for the costs and risks associated with the product shipment; it is therefore recommended to ship the product with an acknowledgement of receipt and transport insurance in case of significant value of the product.
